Hiram, roi de Tyr, envoya des messagers à David, et du bois de cèdre, et des tailleurs de pierres et des charpentiers, pour lui bâtir une maison.
И послал Хирам, царь Тирский, к Давиду послов, и кедровые деревья, и каменщиков, и плотников, чтобы построить ему дом.
Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.

David reconnut que l'Éternel l'affermissait comme roi d'Israël, et que son royaume était haut élevé, à cause de son peuple d'Israël.
Когда узнал Давид, что утвердил его Господь царем над Израилем,что вознесено высоко царство его, ради народа его Израиля,
And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.

David prit encore des femmes à Jérusalem, et il engendra encore des fils et des filles.
тогда взял Давид еще жен в Иерусалиме, и родил Давид еще сыновей и дочерей.
And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters.

Voici les noms de ceux qui lui naquirent à Jérusalem: Schammua, Schobab, Nathan, Salomon,
И вот имена родившихся у него в Иерусалиме: Самус, Совав, Нафан, Соломон,
Now these are the names of his children which he had in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,

Jibhar, Élischua, Elphéleth,
Евеар, Елисуа, Елфалет,
And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,

Noga, Népheg, Japhia,
Ногах, Нафек, Иафиа,
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

Élischama, Beéliada et Éliphéleth.
и Елисама, Веелиада и Елифалеф.
And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.

Les Philistins apprirent que David avait été oint pour roi sur tout Israël, et ils montèrent tous à sa recherche. David, qui en fut informé, sortit au-devant d'eux.
И услышали Филистимляне, что помазан Давид в царя над всем Израилем, и поднялись все Филистимляне искать Давида. И услышал Давид об этом и пошел против них.
And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.

Les Philistins arrivèrent, et se répandirent dans la vallée des Rephaïm.
И Филистимляне пришли и расположились в долине Рефаимов.
And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

David consulta Dieu, en disant: Monterai-je contre les Philistins, et les livreras-tu entre mes mains? Et l'Éternel lui dit: Monte, et je les livrerai entre tes mains.
И вопросил Давид Бога, говоря: идти ли мне против Филистимлян, и предашь ли их в руки мои? И сказал ему Господь: иди, и Я предам их в руки твои.
And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

Ils montèrent à Baal Peratsim, où David les battit. Puis il dit: Dieu a dispersé mes ennemis par ma main, comme des eaux qui s'écoulent. C'est pourquoi l'on a donné à ce lieu le nom de Baal Peratsim.
И пошли они в Ваал-Перацим, и поразил их там Давид; и сказал Давид: сломил Бог врагов моих рукою моею, как прорыв воды. Посему и дали имя месту тому: Ваал-Перацим.
So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.

Ils laissèrent là leurs dieux, qui furent brûlés au feu d'après l'ordre de David.
И оставили там Филистимляне богов своих, и повелел Давид, и сожжены они огнем.
And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

Les Philistins se répandirent de nouveau dans la vallée.
И пришли опять Филистимляне и расположились по долине.
And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.

David consulta encore Dieu. Et Dieu lui dit: Tu ne monteras pas après eux; détourne-toi d'eux, et tu arriveras sur eux vis-à-vis des mûriers.
И еще вопросил Давид Бога, и сказал ему Бог: не ходи прямо на них, уклонись от них и иди к ним со стороны тутовых дерев;
Therefore David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

Quand tu entendras un bruit de pas dans les cimes des mûriers, alors tu sortiras pour combattre, car c'est Dieu qui marche devant toi pour battre l'armée des Philistins.
и когда услышишь шум как бы шагов на вершинах тутовых дерев, тогда вступи в битву, ибо вышел Бог пред тобою, чтобы поразить стан Филистимлян.
And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.

David fit ce que Dieu lui avait ordonné, et l'armée des Philistins fut battue depuis Gabaon jusqu'à Guézer.
И сделал Давид, как повелел ему Бог; и поразили стан Филистимский, от Гаваона до Газера.
David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.

La renommée de David se répandit dans tous les pays, et l'Éternel le rendit redoutable à toutes les nations.
И пронеслось имя Давидово по всем землям, и Господь сделал егострашным для всех народов.
And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations.
