Через год, в то время когда цари выходят на войну, вывел Иоав войско и стал разорять землюАммонитян, и пришел и осадил Равву. Давид же оставался в Иерусалиме. Иоав, завоевав Равву, разрушил ее.
وكان عند تمام السنة في وقت خروج الملوك اقتاد يوآب قوة الجيش واخرب ارض بني عمون واتى وحاصر ربّة. وكان داود مقيما في اورشليم. فضرب يوآب ربّة وهدمها.
L'année suivante, au temps où les rois se mettaient en campagne, Joab, à la tête d'une forte armée, alla ravager le pays des fils d'Ammon et assiéger Rabba. Mais David resta à Jérusalem. Joab battit Rabba et la détruisit.
And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.

И взял Давид венец царя их с головы его, и в нем оказалось весу талант золота, и драгоценные камни были на нем; и был он возложен на голову Давида. И добычи очень много вынес из города.
واخذ داود تاج ملكهم عن راسه فوجد وزنه وزنة من الذهب وفيه حجر كريم فكان على راس داود. واخرج غنيمة المدينة وكانت كثيرة جدا.
David enleva la couronne de dessus la tête de son roi, et la trouva du poids d'un talent d'or: elle était garnie de pierres précieuses. On la mit sur la tête de David, qui emporta de la ville un très grand butin.
And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.

А народ, который был в нем, вывел и умерщвлял их пилами, железными молотилами и секирами. Так поступил Давид со всеми городами Аммонитян, и возвратился Давид и весь народ в Иерусалим.
واخرج الشعب الذين بها ونشرهم بمناشير ونوارج حديد وفؤوس. وهكذا صنع داود لكل مدن بني عمون ثم رجع داود وكل الشعب الى اورشليم
Il fit sortir les habitants, et il les mit en pièces avec des scies, des herses de fer et des haches; il traita de même toutes les villes des fils d'Ammon. David retourna à Jérusalem avec tout le peuple.
And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.

После того началась война с Филистимлянами в Газере. Тогда Совохай Хушатянин поразил Сафа, одного из потомков Рефаимов. И они усмирились.
ثم بعد ذلك قامت حرب في جازر مع الفلسطينيين. حينئذ سبكاي الحوشي قتل سفّاي من اولاد رافا فذلّوا.
Après cela, il y eut une bataille à Guézer avec les Philistins. Alors Sibbecaï, le Huschatite, tua Sippaï, l'un des enfants de Rapha. Et les Philistins furent humiliés.
And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.

И опять была война с Филистимлянами. Тогда Елханам, сын Иаира, поразил Лахмия, брата Голиафова, Гефянина, у которого древко копья было, как навой у ткачей.
وكانت ايضا حرب مع الفلسطينيين فقتل الحانان بن ياعور لحمي اخا جليات الجتّي. وكانت قناة رمحه كنول النسّاجين.
Il y eut encore une bataille avec les Philistins. Et Elchanan, fils de Jaïr, tua le frère de Goliath, Lachmi de Gath, qui avait une lance dont le bois était comme une ensouple de tisserand.
And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam.

Было еще сражение в Гефе. Там был один рослый человек, у которого было по шести пальцев, всегодвадцать четыре. И он также был из потомков Рефаимов.
ثم كانت ايضا حرب في جتّ وكان رجل طويل القامة أعنش اصابعه اربع وعشرون وهو ايضا ولد لرافا.
Il y eut encore une bataille à Gath. Il s'y trouva un homme de haute taille, qui avait six doigts à chaque main et à chaque pied, vingt-quatre en tout, et qui était aussi issu de Rapha.
And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.

Он поносил Израиля, но Ионафан, сын Шимы, брата Давидова, поразил его.
ولما عيّر اسرائيل ضربه يهوناثان بن شمعا اخي داود.
Il jeta un défi à Israël; et Jonathan, fils de Schimea, frère de David, le tua.
But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him.

Это были родившиеся от Рефаимов в Гефе, и пали от руки Давида и от руки слуг его.
هؤلاء ولدوا لرافا في جت وسقطوا بيد داود وبيد عبيده
Ces hommes étaient des enfants de Rapha à Gath. Ils périrent par la main de David et par la main de ses serviteurs.
These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
