واخذ كل شعب يهوذا عزّيا وهو ابن ست عشرة سنة وملكوه عوضا عن ابيه امصيا.
Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.

Tout le peuple de Juda prit Ozias, âgé de seize ans, et l'établit roi à la place de son père Amatsia.

هو بنى ايلة وردها ليهوذا بعد اضطجاع الملك مع آبائه
He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.

Ozias rebâtit Éloth et la fit rentrer sous la puissance de Juda, après que le roi fut couché avec ses pères.

كان عزّيا ابن ست عشرة سنة حين ملك وملك اثنتين وخمسين سنة في اورشليم. واسم امه يكليا من اورشليم.
Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.

Ozias avait seize ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-deux ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Jecolia, de Jérusalem.

وعمل المستقيم في عيني الرب حسب كل ما عمل امصيا ابوه.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.

Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait Amatsia, son père.

وكان يطلب الله في ايام زكريا الفاهم بمناظر الله وفي ايام طلبه الرب انجحه الله.
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

Il s'appliqua à rechercher Dieu pendant la vie de Zacharie, qui avait l'intelligence des visions de Dieu; et dans le temps où il rechercha l'Éternel, Dieu le fit prospérer.

وخرج وحارب الفسطينيين وهدم سور جتّ وسور يبنة وسور اشدود وبنى مدنا في ارض اشدود والفلسطينيين.
And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines.

Il se mit en guerre contre les Philistins; et il abattit les murs de Gath, les murs de Jabné, et les murs d'Asdod, et construisit des villes dans le territoire d'Asdod, et parmi les Philistins.

وساعده الله على الفلسطينيين وعلى العرب الساكنين في جور بعل والمعونيين.
And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims.

واعطى العمونيون عزّيا هدايا وامتد اسمه الى مدخل مصر لانه تشدد جدا.
And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly.

Les Ammonites faisaient des présents à Ozias, et sa renommée s'étendit jusqu'aux frontières de l'Égypte, car il devint très puissant.

وبنى عزيا ابراجا في اورشليم عند باب الزاوية وعند باب الوادي وعند الزاوية وحصّنها.
Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them.

Ozias bâtit des tours à Jérusalem sur la porte de l'angle, sur la porte de la vallée, et sur l'angle, et il les fortifia.

وبنى ابراجا في البرية وحفر آبارا كثيرة لانه كان له ماشية كثيرة في الساحل والسهل وفلاحون وكرامون في الجبال وفي الكرمل لانه كان يحب الفلاحة.
Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.

Il bâtit des tours dans le désert, et il creusa beaucoup de citernes, parce qu'il avait de nombreux troupeaux dans les vallées et dans la plaine, et des laboureurs et des vignerons dans les montagnes et au Carmel, car il aimait l'agriculture.

وكان لعزيا جيش من المقاتلين يخرجون للحرب احزابا حسب عدد احصائهم عن يد يعيئيل الكاتب ومعسيا العريف تحت يد حننيا واحد من رؤساء الملك.
Moreover Uzziah had an host of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king's captains.

Ozias avait une armée de soldats qui allaient à la guerre par bandes, comptées d'après le dénombrement qu'en firent le secrétaire Jeïel et le commissaire Maaséja, et placées sous les ordres de Hanania, l'un des chefs du roi.

كل عدد رؤوس الآباء من جبابرة البأس الفان وست مئة.
The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valour were two thousand and six hundred.

وتحت يدهم جيش جنود ثلاث مئة الف وسبعة آلاف وخمس مئة من المقاتلين بقوة شديدة لمساعدة الملك على العدو.
And under their hand was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.

وهيّأ لهم عزيا لكل الجيش اتراسا ورماحا وخوذا ودروعا وقسيا وحجارة مقاليع.
And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones.

Ozias leur procura pour toute l'armée des bouclier, des lances, des casques, des cuirasses, des arcs et des frondes.

وعمل في اورشليم منجنيقات اختراع مخترعين لتكون على الابراج وعلى الزوايا لترمى بها السهام والحجارة العظيمة وامتد اسمه الى بعيد اذ عجبت مساعدته حتى تشدد.
And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

Il fit faire à Jérusalem des machines inventées par un ingénieur, et destinées à être placées sur les tours et sur les angles, pour lancer des flèches et de grosses pierres. Sa renommée s'étendit au loin, car il fut merveilleusement soutenu jusqu'à ce qu'il devînt puissant.

ولما تشدد ارتفع قلبه الى الهلاك وخان الرب الهه ودخل هيكل الرب ليوقد على مذبح البخور.
But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

Mais lorsqu'il fut puissant, son coeur s'éleva pour le perdre. Il pécha contre l'Éternel, son Dieu: il entra dans le temple de l'Éternel pour brûler des parfums sur l'autel des parfums.

ودخل وراءه عزريا الكاهن ومعه ثمانون من كهنة الرب بني البأس.
And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men:

Le sacrificateur Azaria entra après lui, avec quatre-vingts sacrificateurs de l'Éternel,

وقاوموا عزيا الملك وقالوا له ليس لك يا عزيا ان توقد للرب بل للكهنة بني هرون المقدسين للايقاد. اخرج من المقدس لانك خنت وليس لك من كرامة من عند الرب الاله.
And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God.

hommes courageux, qui s'opposèrent au roi Ozias et lui dirent: Tu n'as pas le droit, Ozias, d'offrir des parfums à l'Éternel! Ce droit appartient aux sacrificateurs, fils d'Aaron, qui ont été consacrés pour les offrir. Sors du sanctuaire, car tu commets un péché! Et cela ne tournera pas à ton honneur devant l'Éternel Dieu.

فحنق عزيا وكان في يده مجمرة للايقاد وعند حنقه على الكهنة خرج برص في جبهته امام الكهنة في بيت الرب بجانب مذبح البخور.
Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.

La colère s'empara d'Ozias, qui tenait un encensoir à la main. Et comme il s'irritait contre les sacrificateurs, la lèpre éclata sur son front, en présence des sacrificateurs, dans la maison de l'Éternel, près de l'autel des parfums.

فالتفت نحوه عزرياهو الكاهن الراس وكل الكهنة واذا هو ابرص في جبهته فطردوه من هناك حتى انه هو نفسه بادر الى الخروج لان الرب ضربه.
And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

Le souverain sacrificateur Azaria et tous les sacrificateurs portèrent les regards sur lui, et voici, il avait la lèpre au front. Ils le mirent précipitamment dehors, et lui-même se hâta de sortir, parce que l'Éternel l'avait frappé.

وكان عزيا الملك ابرص الى يوم وفاته واقام في بيت المرض ابرص لانه قطع من بيت الرب وكان يوثام ابنه على بيت الملك يحكم على شعب الارض.
And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

Le roi Ozias fut lépreux jusqu'au jour de sa mort, et il demeura dans une maison écartée comme lépreux, car il fut exclu de la maison de l'Éternel. Et Jotham, son fils, était à la tête de la maison du roi et jugeait le peuple du pays.

وبقية امور عزيا الاولى والاخيرة كتبها اشعياء بن آموص النبي.
Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.

Le reste des actions d'Ozias, les premières et les dernières, a été écrit par Ésaïe, fils d'Amots, le prophète.

ثم اضطجع عزيا مع آبائه ودفنوه مع آبائه في حقل المقبرة التي للملوك لانهم قالوا انه ابرص. وملك يوثام ابنه عوضا عنه
So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

Ozias se coucha avec ses pères, et on l'enterra avec ses pères dans le champ de la sépulture des rois, car on disait: Il est lépreux. Et Jotham, son fils, régna à sa place.
