Au bout de vingt ans, pendant lesquels Salomon bâtit la maison de l'Éternel et sa propre maison,
وبعد نهاية عشرين سنة بعد ان بنى سليمان بيت الرب وبيته
And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of the LORD, and his own house,

il reconstruisit les villes que lui donna Huram et y établit des enfants d'Israël.
بنى سليمان المدن التي اعطاها حورام لسليمان واسكن فيها بني اسرائيل.
That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.

Salomon marcha contre Hamath, vers Tsoba, et s'en empara.
وذهب سليمان الى حماة صوبة وقوي عليها.
And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.

Il bâtit Thadmor au désert, et toutes les villes servant de magasins en Hamath.
وبنى تدمر في البرية وجميع مدن المخازن التي بناها في حماة.
And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store cities, which he built in Hamath.

Il bâtit Beth Horon la haute et Beth Horon la basse, villes fortes, ayant des murs, des portes et des barres;
وبنى بيت حورون العليا وبيت حورون السفلى مدنا حصينة باسوار وابواب وعوارض.
Also he built Bethhoron the upper, and Bethhoron the nether, fenced cities, with walls, gates, and bars;

Baalath, et toutes les villes servant de magasins et lui appartenant, toutes les villes pour les chars, les villes pour la cavalerie, et tout ce qu'il plut à Salomon de bâtir à Jérusalem, au Liban, et dans tout le pays dont il était le souverain.
وبعلة وكل مدن المخازن التي كانت لسليمان وجميع مدن المركبات ومدن الفرسان وكل مرغوب سليمان الذي رغب ان يبنيه في اورشليم وفي لبنان وفي كل ارض سلطانه.
And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.

Tout le peuple qui était resté des Héthiens, des Amoréens, des Phéréziens, des Héviens et des Jébusiens, ne faisant point partie d'Israël,
اما جميع الشعب الباقي من الحثّيين والاموريين والفرزّيين والحويين واليبوسيين الذين ليسوا من اسرائيل
As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were not of Israel,

leurs descendants qui étaient restés après eux dans le pays et que les enfants d'Israël n'avaient pas détruits, Salomon les leva comme gens de corvée, ce qu'ils ont été jusqu'à ce jour.
من بنيهم الذين بقوا بعدهم في الارض الذين لم يفنهم بنو اسرائيل فجعل سليمان عليهم سخرة الى هذا اليوم.
But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.

Salomon n'employa comme esclave pour ses travaux aucun des enfants d'Israël; car ils étaient des hommes de guerre, ses chefs, ses officiers, les commandants de ses chars et de sa cavalerie.
واما بنو اسرائيل فلم يجعل سليمان منهم عبيدا لشغله لانهم رجال القتال ورؤساء قوّاده ورؤساء مركباته وفرسانه.
But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.

Les chefs placés par le roi Salomon à la tête du peuple, et chargés de le surveiller, étaient au nombre de deux cent cinquante.
وهؤلاء رؤساء الموكلين الذين للملك سليمان مئتان وخمسون المتسلطون على الشعب.
And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.

Salomon fit monter la fille de Pharaon de la cité de David dans la maison qu'il lui avait bâtie; car il dit: Ma femme n'habitera pas dans la maison de David, roi d'Israël, parce que les lieux où est entrée l'arche de l'Éternel sont saints.
واما بنت فرعون فاصعدها سليمان من مدينة داود الى البيت الذي بناه لها لانه قال لا تسكن امرأة لي في بيت داود ملك اسرائيل لان الاماكن التي دخل اليها تابوت الرب انما هي مقدسة
And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.

Alors Salomon offrit des holocaustes à l'Éternel sur l'autel de l'Éternel, qu'il avait construit devant le portique.
حينئذ اصعد سليمان محرقات للرب على مذبح الرب الذي بناه قدام الرواق.
Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,

Il offrait ce qui était prescrit par Moïse pour chaque jour, pour les sabbats, pour les nouvelles lunes, et pour les fêtes, trois fois l'année, à la fête des pains sans levain, à la fête des semaines, et à la fête des tabernacles.
أمر كل يوم بيومه من المحرقات حسب وصية موسى في السبوت والاهلّة والمواسم ثلاث مرات في السنة في عيد الفطير وعيد الاسابيع وعيد المظال.
Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.

Il établit dans leurs fonctions, telles que les avait réglées David, son père, les classes des sacrificateurs selon leur office, les Lévites selon leur charge, consistant à célébrer l'Éternel et à faire jour par jour le service en présence des sacrificateurs, et les portiers distribués à chaque porte d'après leurs classes; car ainsi l'avait ordonné David, homme de Dieu.
واوقف حسب قضاء داود ابيه فرق الكهنة على خدمتهم واللاويين على حراساتهم للتسبيح والخدمة امام الكهنة عمل كل يوم بيومه والبوابين حسب فرقهم على كل باب. لانه هكذا هي وصية داود رجل الله.
And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.

On ne s'écarta point de l'ordre du roi pour les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, ni pour aucune chose, ni pour ce qui concernait les trésors.
ولم يحيدوا عن وصية الملك على الكهنة واللاويين في كل أمر وفي الخزائن.
And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.

Ainsi fut dirigée toute l'oeuvre de Salomon, jusqu'au jour où la maison de l'Éternel fut fondée et jusqu'à celui où elle fut terminée. La maison de l'Éternel fut donc achevée.
فتهيّأ كل عمل سليمان الى يوم تأسيس بيت الرب والى نهايته. فكمل بيت الرب
Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.

Salomon partit alors pour Etsjon Guéber et pour Éloth, sur les bords de la mer, dans le pays d'Édom.
حينئذ ذهب سليمان الى عصيون جابر والى ايلة على شاطئ البحر في ارض ادوم.
Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.

Et Huram lui envoya par ses serviteurs des navires et des serviteurs connaissant la mer. Ils allèrent avec les serviteurs de Salomon à Ophir, et ils y prirent quatre cent cinquante talents d'or, qu'ils apportèrent au roi Salomon.
وارسل له حورام بيد عبيده سفنا وعبيدا يعرفون البحر فأتوا مع عبيد سليمان الى اوفير واخذوا من هناك اربع مئة وخمسين وزنة ذهب واتوا بها الى الملك سليمان
And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.
