للانسان تدابير القلب ومن الرب جواب اللسان.
Les projets que forme le coeur dépendent de l'homme, Mais la réponse que donne la bouche vient de l'Éternel.
The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

كل طرق الانسان نقية في عيني نفسه. والرب وازن الارواح.
Toutes les voies de l'homme sont pures à ses yeux; Mais celui qui pèse les esprits, c'est l'Éternel.
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

الق على الرب اعمالك فتثبت افكارك.
Recommande à l'Éternel tes oeuvres, Et tes projets réussiront.
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

الرب صنع الكل لغرضه والشرير ايضا ليوم الشر.
L'Éternel a tout fait pour un but, Même le méchant pour le jour du malheur.
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

مكرهة الرب كل متشامخ القلب. يدا ليد لا يتبرأ.
Tout coeur hautain est en abomination à l'Éternel; Certes, il ne restera pas impuni.
Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

بالرحمة والحق يستر الاثم وفي مخافة الرب الحيدان عن الشر.
Par la bonté et la fidélité on expie l'iniquité, Et par la crainte de l'Éternel on se détourne du mal.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

اذا ارضت الرب طرق انسان جعل اعداءه ايضا يسالمونه.
Quand l'Éternel approuve les voies d'un homme, Il dispose favorablement à son égard même ses ennemis.
When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

القليل مع العدل خير من دخل جزيل بغير حق.
Mieux vaut peu, avec la justice, Que de grands revenus, avec l'injustice.
Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

قلب الانسان يفكر في طريقه والرب يهدي خطوته.
Le coeur de l'homme médite sa voie, Mais c'est l'Éternel qui dirige ses pas.
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

في شفتي الملك وحي. في القضاء فمه لا يخون
Des oracles sont sur les lèvres du roi: Sa bouche ne doit pas être infidèle quand il juge.
A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.

قبّان الحق وموازينه للرب. كل معايير الكيس عمله.
Le poids et la balance justes sont à l'Éternel; Tous les poids du sac sont son ouvrage.
A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work.

مكرهة الملوك فعل الشر لان الكرسي يثبت بالبر.
Les rois ont horreur de faire le mal, Car c'est par la justice que le trône s'affermit.
It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

مرضاة الملوك شفتا حق والمتكلم بالمستقيمات يحب.
Les lèvres justes gagnent la faveur des rois, Et ils aiment celui qui parle avec droiture.
Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.

غضب الملك رسل الموت والانسان الحكيم يستعطفه.
La fureur du roi est un messager de mort, Et un homme sage doit l'apaiser.
The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.

في نور وجه الملك حياة ورضاه كسحاب المطر المتأخر.
La sérénité du visage du roi donne la vie, Et sa faveur est comme une pluie du printemps.
In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

قنية الحكمة كم هي خير من الذهب وقنية الفهم تختار على الفضة.
Combien acquérir la sagesse vaut mieux que l'or! Combien acquérir l'intelligence est préférable à l'argent!
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

منهج المستقيمين الحيدان عن الشر. حافظ نفسه حافظ طريقه
Le chemin des hommes droits, c'est d'éviter le mal; Celui qui garde son âme veille sur sa voie.
The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

قبل الكسر الكبرياء وقبل السقوط تشامخ الروح.
L'arrogance précède la ruine, Et l'orgueil précède la chute.
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

تواضع الروح مع الودعاء خير من قسم الغنيمة مع المتكبرين.
Mieux vaut être humble avec les humbles Que de partager le butin avec les orgueilleux.
Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

الفطن من جهة امر يجد خيرا. ومن يتكل على الرب فطوبى له.
Celui qui réfléchit sur les choses trouve le bonheur, Et celui qui se confie en l'Éternel est heureux.
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.

حكيم القلب يدعى فهيما وحلاوة الشفتين تزيد علما.
Celui qui est sage de coeur est appelé intelligent, Et la douceur des lèvres augmente le savoir.
The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

الفطنة ينبوع حياة لصاحبها وتأديب الحمقى حماقة.
La sagesse est une source de vie pour celui qui la possède; Et le châtiment des insensés, c'est leur folie.
Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

قلب الحكيم يرشد فمه ويزيد شفتيه علما.
Celui qui est sage de coeur manifeste la sagesse par sa bouche, Et l'accroissement de son savoir paraît sur ses lèvres.
The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

الكلام الحسن شهد عسل حلو للنفس وشفاء للعظام.
Les paroles agréables sont un rayon de miel, Douces pour l'âme et salutaires pour le corps.
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

توجد طريق تظهر للانسان مستقيمة وعاقبتها طرق الموت.
Telle voie paraît droite à un homme, Mais son issue, c'est la voie de la mort.
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

نفس التعب تتعب له لان فمه يحثّه.
Celui qui travaille, travaille pour lui, Car sa bouche l'y excite.
He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.

الرجل اللئيم ينبش الشر وعلى شفتيه كالنار المتقدة.
L'homme pervers prépare le malheur, Et il y a sur ses lèvres comme un feu ardent.
An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

رجل الاكاذيب يطلق الخصومة والنمّام يفرّق الاصدقاء.
L'homme pervers excite des querelles, Et le rapporteur divise les amis.
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

الرجل الظالم يغوي صاحبه ويسوقه الى طريق غير صالحة.
L'homme violent séduit son prochain, Et le fait marcher dans une voie qui n'est pas bonne.
A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.

30
من يغمض عينيه ليفكر في الاكاذيب ومن يعض شفتيه فقد اكمل شرا.
Celui qui ferme les yeux pour se livrer à des pensées perverses, Celui qui se mord les lèvres, a déjà consommé le mal.
He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.

تاج جمال شيبة توجد في طريق البر.
Les cheveux blancs sont une couronne d'honneur; C'est dans le chemin de la justice qu'on la trouve.
The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

البطيء الغضب خير من الجبار ومالك روحه خير ممن يأخذ مدينة.
Celui qui est lent à la colère vaut mieux qu'un héros, Et celui qui est maître de lui-même, que celui qui prend des villes.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

القرعة تلقى في الحضن ومن الرب كل حكمها
On jette le sort dans le pan de la robe, Mais toute décision vient de l'Éternel.
The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
