After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
После сих происшествий было слово Господа к Авраму в видении, исказано: не бойся, Аврам; Я твой щит; награда твоя весьма велика.
بعد هذه الامور صار كلام الرب الى ابرام في الرؤيا قائلا. لا تخف يا ابرام. انا ترس لك. اجرك كثير جدا.

And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
Аврам сказал: Владыка Господи! что Ты дашь мне? я остаюсь бездетным; распорядитель в доме моем этот Елиезер из Дамаска.
فقال ابرام ايها السيد الرب ماذا تعطيني وانا ماض عقيما ومالك بيتي هو أليعازر الدمشقي.

And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
И сказал Аврам: вот, Ты не дал мне потомства, и вот, домочадец мой наследник мой.
وقال ابرام ايضا انك لم تعطني نسلا وهوذا ابن بيتي وارث لي.

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
И было слово Господа к нему, и сказано: не будет он твоим наследником, но тот, кто произойдет из чресл твоих, будет твоим наследником.
فاذا كلام الرب اليه قائلا. لا يرثك هذا. بل الذي يخرج من احشائك هو يرثك.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
И вывел его вон и сказал: посмотри на небо и сосчитай звезды, если ты можешь счесть их. И сказал ему: столько будет у тебяпотомков.
ثم اخرجه الى خارج وقال انظر الى السماء وعدّ النجوم ان استطعت ان تعدّها. وقال له هكذا يكون نسلك.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Аврам поверил Господу, и Он вменил ему это в праведность.
فآمن بالرب فحسبه له برا.

And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
И сказал ему: Я Господь, Который вывел тебя из Ура Халдейского, чтобы дать тебе землю сию во владение.
وقال له انا الرب الذي اخرجك من أور الكلدانيين ليعطيك هذه الارض لترثها.

And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
Он сказал: Владыка Господи! по чему мне узнать, что я буду владеть ею?
فقال ايها السيد الرب بماذا اعلم اني ارثها.

And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
Господь сказал ему: возьми Мне трехлетнюю телицу, трехлетнюю козу, трехлетнего овна, горлицу и молодого голубя.
فقال له خذ لي عجلة ثلثية وعنزة ثلثية وكبشا ثلثيا ويمامة وحمامة.

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
Он взял всех их, рассек их пополам и положил одну часть против другой; только птиц не рассек.
فأخذ هذه كلها وشقها من الوسط وجعل شق كل واحد مقابل صاحبه. واما الطير فلم يشقه.

And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.
И налетели на трупы хищные птицы; но Аврам отгонял их.
فنزلت الجوارح على الجثث وكان ابرام يزجرها

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
При захождении солнца крепкий сон напал на Аврама, и вот, напал на него ужас и мрак великий.
ولما صارت الشمس الى المغيب وقع على ابرام سبات. واذا رعبة مظلمة عظيمة واقعة عليه.

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
И сказал Господь Авраму: знай, что потомки твои будут пришельцами в земле не своей, и поработят их, и будут угнетать их четыреста лет,
فقال لابرام اعلم يقينا ان نسلك سيكون غريبا في ارض ليست لهم ويستعبدون لهم. فيذلونهم اربع مئة سنة.

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
но Я произведу суд над народом, у которого они будут в порабощении; после сего они выйдут с большим имуществом,
ثم الامة التي يستعبدون لها انا ادينها. وبعد ذلك يخرجون باملاك جزيلة.

And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
а ты отойдешь к отцам твоим в мире и будешь погребен в старости доброй;
واما انت فتمضي الى آبائك بسلام وتدفن بشيبة صالحة.

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
в четвертом роде возвратятся они сюда: ибо мера беззаконий Аморреев доселе еще не наполнилась.
وفي الجيل الرابع يرجعون الى ههنا. لان ذنب الاموريين ليس الى الآن كاملا.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
Когда зашло солнце и наступила тьма, вот, дым как бы из печи и пламя огня прошли между рассеченными животными.
ثم غابت الشمس فصارت العتمة. واذا تنور دخان ومصباح نار يجوز بين تلك القطع

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
В этот день заключил Господь завет с Аврамом, сказав: потомству твоему даю Я землю сию, от реки Египетской до великой реки, реки Евфрата:
في ذلك اليوم قطع الرب مع ابرام ميثاقا قائلا. لنسلك اعطي هذه الارض من نهر مصر الى النهر الكبير نهر الفرات.

The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
Кенеев, Кенезеев, Кедмонеев,
القينيين والقنزّيين والقدمونيين

20
And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
Хеттеев, Ферезеев, Рефаимов,
والحثّيين والفرزّيين والرفائيين
-
21
And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
Аморреев, Хананеев, Гергесеев и Иевусеев.
والأموريين والكنعانيين والجرجاشيين واليبوسيين
