And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
Lorsque Rachel vit qu'elle ne donnait point d'enfants à Jacob, elle porta envie à sa soeur, et elle dit à Jacob: Donne-moi des enfants, ou je meurs!
فلما رأت راحيل انها لم تلد ليعقوب غارت راحيل من اختها وقالت ليعقوب هب لي بنين. وإلا فانا اموت.
라헬이 자기가 야곱에게 아들을 낳지 못함을 보고 그 형을 투기하여 야곱에게 이르되 ‘나로 자식을 낳게 하라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 죽겠노라’

And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?
La colère de Jacob s'enflamma contre Rachel, et il dit: Suis-je à la place de Dieu, qui t'empêche d'être féconde?
فحمي غضب يعقوب على راحيل وقال ألعلي مكان الله الذي منع عنك ثمرة البطن.
야곱이 라헬에게 노를 발하여 가로되 ‘그대로 성태치 못하게 하시는 이는 하나님이시니 내가 하나님을 대신하겠느냐’

And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her.
Elle dit: Voici ma servante Bilha; va vers elle; qu'elle enfante sur mes genoux, et que par elle j'aie aussi des fils.
فقالت هوذا جاريتي بلهة. ادخل عليها فتلد على ركبتيّ وأرزق انا ايضا منها بنين.
라헬이 가로되 ‘나의 여종 빌하에게로 들어가라 그가 아들을 낳아 내 무릎에 두리니 그러면 나도 그를 인하여 자식을 얻겠노라’ 하고

And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her.
Et elle lui donna pour femme Bilha, sa servante; et Jacob alla vers elle.
. فاعطته بلهة جاريتها زوجة. فدخل عليها يعقوب
그 시녀 빌하를 남편에게 첩으로 주매 야곱이 그에게로 들어갔더니

And Bilhah conceived, and bare Jacob a son.
Bilha devint enceinte, et enfanta un fils à Jacob.
. فحبلت بلهة وولدت ليعقوب ابنا
빌하가 잉태하여 야곱에게 아들을 낳은지라

And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.
Rachel dit: Dieu m'a rendu justice, il a entendu ma voix, et il m'a donné un fils. C'est pourquoi elle l'appela du nom de Dan.
فقالت راحيل قد قضى لي الله وسمع ايضا لصوتي واعطاني ابنا. لذلك دعت اسمه دانا.
라헬이 가로되 ‘하나님이 내 억울함을 푸시려고 내 소리를 들으사 내게 아들을 주셨다’ 하고 이로 인하여 그 이름을 단이라 하였으며

And Bilhah Rachel's maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son.
Bilha, servante de Rachel, devint encore enceinte, et enfanta un second fils à Jacob.
وحبلت ايضا بلهة جارية راحيل وولدت ابنا ثانيا ليعقوب.
라헬의 시녀 빌하가 다시 잉태하여 둘째 아들을 야곱에게 낳으매

And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.
Rachel dit: J'ai lutté divinement contre ma soeur, et j'ai vaincu. Et elle l'appela du nom de Nephthali.
فقالت راحيل مصارعات الله قد صارعت اختي وغلبت. فدعت اسمه نفتالي
라헬이 가로되 ‘내가 형과 크게 경쟁하여 이기었다’ 하고 그 이름을 납달리라 하였더라

When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife.
Léa voyant qu'elle avait cessé d'enfanter, prit Zilpa, sa servante, et la donna pour femme à Jacob.
ولما رأت ليئة انها توقّفت عن الولادة اخذت زلفة جاريتها واعطتها ليعقوب زوجة.
레아가 자기의 생산이 멈춤을 보고 그 시녀 실바를 취하여 야곱에게 주어 첩을 삼게 하였더니

And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a son.
Zilpa, servante de Léa, enfanta un fils à Jacob.
فولدت زلفة جارية ليئة ليعقوب ابنا.
레아의 시녀 실바가 야곱에게 아들을 낳으매

And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad.
Léa dit: Quel bonheur! Et elle l'appela du nom de Gad.
فقالت ليئة بسعد. فدعت اسمه جادا.
레아가 가로되 ‘복되도다’ 하고 그 이름을 갓이라 하였으며

And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a second son.
Zilpa, servante de Léa, enfanta un second fils à Jacob.
وولدت زلفة جارية ليئة ابنا ثانيا ليعقوب.
레아의 시녀 실바가 둘째 아들을 야곱에게 낳으매

And Leah said, Happy am I, for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher.
Léa dit: Que je suis heureuse! car les filles me diront heureuse. Et elle l'appela du nom d'Aser.
فقالت ليئة بغبطتي لانه تغبطني بنات. فدعت اسمه اشير
레아가 가로되 ‘기쁘도다 모든 딸들이 나를 기쁜 자라 하리로다’ 하고 그 이름을 아셀이라 하였더라

And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes.
Ruben sortit au temps de la moisson des blés, et trouva des mandragores dans les champs. Il les apporta à Léa, sa mère. Alors Rachel dit à Léa: Donne moi, je te prie, des mandragores de ton fils.
ومضى رأوبين في ايام حصاد الحنطة فوجد لفّاحا في الحقل وجاء به الى ليئة امه. فقالت راحيل لليئة اعطني من لفّاح ابنك.
맥추 때에 르우벤이 나가서 들에서 합환채를 얻어 어미 레아에게 드렸더니 라헬이 레아에게 이르되 ‘형의 아들의 합환채를 청구하노라’

And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes.
Elle lui répondit: Est-ce peu que tu aies pris mon mari, pour que tu prennes aussi les mandragores de mon fils? Et Rachel dit: Eh bien! il couchera avec toi cette nuit pour les mandragores de ton fils.
فقالت لها أقليل انك اخذت رجلي فتاخذين لفّاح ابني ايضا. فقالت راحيل اذا يضطجع معك الليلة عوضا عن لفّاح ابنك.
레아가 그에게 이르되 ‘네가 내 남편을 빼앗은 것이 작은 일이냐 네가 내 아들의 합환채도 빼앗고자 하느냐’ 라헬이 가로되 ‘그러면 형의 아들의 합환채 대신에 오늘밤에 내 남편이 형과 동침하리라’ 하리라

And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son's mandrakes. And he lay with her that night.
Le soir, comme Jacob revenait des champs, Léa sortit à sa rencontre, et dit: C'est vers moi que tu viendras, car je t'ai acheté pour les mandragores de mon fils. Et il coucha avec elle cette nuit.
فلما اتى يعقوب من الحقل في المساء خرجت ليئة لملاقاته وقالت اليّ تجيء لاني قد استأجرتك بلفّاح ابني. فاضطجع معها تلك الليلة.
저물 때에 야곱이 들에서 돌아오매 레아가 나와서 그를 영접하며 이르되 ‘내게로 들어오라 내가 내 아들의 합환채로 당신을 샀노라’ 그 밤에 야곱이 그와 동침하였더라

And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.
Dieu exauça Léa, qui devint enceinte, et enfanta un cinquième fils à Jacob.
وسمع الله لليئة فحبلت وولدت ليعقوب ابنا خامسا.
하나님이 레아를 들으셨으므로 그가 잉태하여 다섯째 아들을 야곱에게 낳은지라

And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.
Léa dit: Dieu m'a donné mon salaire parce que j'ai donné ma servante à mon mari. Et elle l'appela du nom d'Issacar.
فقالت ليئة قد اعطاني الله اجرتي لاني اعطيت جاريتي لرجلي. فدعت اسمه يسّاكر.
레아가 가로되 ‘내가 내 시녀를 남편에게 주었으므로 하나님이 내게 그 값을 주셨다’ 하고 그 이름을 잇사갈이라 하였으며

And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son.
Léa devint encore enceinte, et enfanta un sixième fils à Jacob.
وحبلت ايضا ليئة وولدت ابنا سادسا ليعقوب.
레아가 다시 잉태하여 여섯째 아들을 야곱에게 낳은지라

And Leah said, God hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.
Léa dit: Dieu m'a fait un beau don; cette fois, mon mari habitera avec moi, car je lui ai enfanté six fils. Et elle l'appela du nom de Zabulon.
فقالت ليئة قد وهبني الله هبة حسنة. الآن يساكنني رجلي لاني ولدت له ستة بنين. فدعت اسمه زبولون.
레아가 가로되 ‘하나님이 네게 후한 선물을 주시도다 내가 남편에게 여섯 아들을 낳았으니 이제는 그가 나와 함께 거하리라’ 하고 그 이름을 스불론이라 하였으며

And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah.
Ensuite, elle enfanta une fille, qu'elle appela du nom de Dina.
ثم ولدت ابنة ودعت اسمها دينة
그 후에 그가 딸을 낳고 그 이름을 디나라 하였더라

And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
Dieu se souvint de Rachel, il l'exauça, et il la rendit féconde.
وذكر الله راحيل وسمع لها الله وفتح رحمها.
하나님이 라헬을 생각하신지라 하나님이 그를 들으시고 그 태를 여신고로

And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:
Elle devint enceinte, et enfanta un fils, et elle dit: Dieu a enlevé mon opprobre.
فحبلت وولدت ابنا. فقالت قد نزع الله عاري.
그가 잉태하여 아들을 낳고 가로되 ‘하나님이 나의 부끄러움을 씻으셨다’ 하고

And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son.
Et elle lui donna le nom de Joseph, en disant: Que l'Éternel m'ajoute un autre fils!
ودعت اسمه يوسف قائلة يزيدني الرب ابنا آخر
그 이름을 요셉이라 하니 여호와는 다시 다른 아들을 내게 더하시기를 원하노라 함이었더라

And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
Lorsque Rachel eut enfanté Joseph, Jacob dit à Laban: Laisse-moi partir, pour que je m'en aille chez moi, dans mon pays.
وحدث لما ولدت راحيل يوسف ان يعقوب قال للابان اصرفني لاذهب الى مكاني والى ارضي.
라헬이 요셉을 낳은 때에 야곱이 라반에게 이르되 ‘나를 보내어 내 고향 내 본토로 가게 하시되

Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.
Donne-moi mes femmes et mes enfants, pour lesquels je t'ai servi, et je m'en irai; car tu sais quel service j'ai fait pour toi.
اعطني نسائي واولادي الذين خدمتك بهم فاذهب. لانك انت تعلم خدمتي التي خدمتك.
내가 외삼촌에게서 일하고 얻은 처자를 내게 주어 나로 가게 하소서 내가 외삼촌께 한 일은 외삼촌이 아시나이다’

And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.
Laban lui dit: Puissé-je trouver grâce à tes yeux! Je vois bien que l'Éternel m'a béni à cause de toi;
فقال له لابان ليتني اجد نعمة في عينيك. قد تفاءلت فباركني الرب بسببك.
라반이 그에게 이르되 ‘여호와께서 너로 인하여 내게 복 주신줄을 내가 깨달았노니 네가 나를 사랑스럽게 여기거든 유하라’

And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.
fixe-moi ton salaire, et je te le donnerai.
وقال عيّن لي اجرتك فاعطيك.
또 가로되 ‘네 품삯을 정하라 내가 그것을 주리라’

And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.
Jacob lui dit: Tu sais comment je t'ai servi, et ce qu'est devenu ton troupeau avec moi;
فقال له انت تعلم ماذا خدمتك وماذا صارت مواشيك معي.
야곱이 그에게 이르되 ‘내가 어떻게 외삼촌을 섬겼는지, 어떻게 외삼촌의 짐승을 쳤는지 외삼촌이 아시나이다

For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?
car le peu que tu avais avant moi s'est beaucoup accru, et l'Éternel t'a béni sur mes pas. Maintenant, quand travaillerai-je aussi pour ma maison?
لان ما كان لك قبلي قليل فقد اتّسع الى كثير وباركك الرب في اثري. والآن متى اعمل انا ايضا لبيتي.
내가 오기 전에는 외삼촌의 소유가 적더니 번성하여 떼를 이루었나이다 나의 공력을 따라 여호와께서 외삼촌에게 복을 주셨나이다 그러나 나는 어느 때에나 내 집을 세우리이까’

And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock.
Laban dit: Que te donnerai-je? Et Jacob répondit: Tu ne me donneras rien. Si tu consens à ce que je vais te dire, je ferai paître encore ton troupeau, et je le garderai.
فقال ماذا اعطيك. فقال يعقوب لا تعطيني شيئا. ان صنعت لي هذا الامر اعود ارعى غنمك واحفظها.
라반이 가로되 내가 무엇으로 네게 주랴 야곱이 가로되 외삼촌께서 아무 것도 내게 주실 것이 아니라 나를 위하여 이 일을 행하시면 내가 다시 외삼촌의 양떼를 먹이고 지키리이다

I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire.
Je parcourrai aujourd'hui tout ton troupeau; mets à part parmi les brebis tout agneau tacheté et marqueté et tout agneau noir, et parmi les chèvres tout ce qui est marqueté et tacheté. Ce sera mon salaire.
اجتاز بين غنمك كلها اليوم. وأعزل انت منها كل شاة رقطاء وبلقاء وكل شاة سوداء بين الخرفان وبلقاء ورقطاء بين المعزى. فيكون مثل ذلك اجرتي

So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.
Ma droiture répondra pour moi demain, quand tu viendras voir mon salaire; tout ce qui ne sera pas tacheté et marqueté parmi les chèvres, et noir parmi les agneaux, ce sera de ma part un vol.
ويشهد فيّ برّي يوم غد اذا جئت من اجل اجرتي قدامك. كل ما ليس ارقط او ابلق بين المعزى واسود بين الخرفان فهو مسروق عندي.

And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word.
Laban dit: Eh bien! qu'il en soit selon ta parole.
فقال لابان هوذا ليكن بحسب كلامك.

And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstreaked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.
Ce même jour, il mit à part les boucs rayés et marquetés, toutes les chèvres tachetées et marquetées, toutes celles où il y avait du blanc, et tout ce qui était noir parmi les brebis. Il les remit entre les mains de ses fils.
فعزل في ذلك اليوم التيوس المخطّطة والبلقاء وكل العناز الرقطاء والبلقاء. كل ما فيه بياض وكل اسود بين الخرفان. ودفعها الى ايدي بنيه.

And he set three days' journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban's flocks.
Puis il mit l'espace de trois journées de chemin entre lui et Jacob; et Jacob fit paître le reste du troupeau de Laban.
وجعل مسيرة ثلاثة ايام بينه وبين يعقوب. وكان يعقوب يرعى غنم لابان الباقية

And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chestnut tree; and pilled white streaks in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
Jacob prit des branches vertes de peuplier, d'amandier et de platane; il y pela des bandes blanches, mettant à nu le blanc qui était sur les branches.
فأخذ يعقوب لنفسه قضبانا خضرا من لبنى ولوز ودلب وقشر فيها خطوطا بيضا كاشطا عن البياض الذي على القضبان.

And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.
Puis il plaça les branches, qu'il avait pelées, dans les auges, dans les abreuvoirs, sous les yeux des brebis qui venaient boire, pour qu'elles entrassent en chaleur en venant boire.
واوقف القضبان التي قشرها في الاجران في مساقي الماء حيث كانت الغنم تجيء لتشرب. تجاه الغنم. لتتوحم عند مجيئها لتشرب.

And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstreaked, speckled, and spotted.
Les brebis entraient en chaleur près des branches, et elles faisaient des petits rayés, tachetés et marquetés.
فتوحّمت الغنم عند القضبان وولدت الغنم مخطّطات ورقطا وبلقا.

And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstreaked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle.
Jacob séparait les agneaux, et il mettait ensemble ce qui était rayé et tout ce qui était noir dans le troupeau de Laban. Il se fit ainsi des troupeaux à part, qu'il ne réunit point au troupeau de Laban.
وافرز يعقوب الخرفان وجعل وجوه الغنم الى المخطّط وكل اسود بين غنم لابان. وجعل له قطعانا وحده ولم يجعلها مع غنم لابان.

And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.
Toutes les fois que les brebis vigoureuses entraient en chaleur, Jacob plaçait les branches dans les auges, sous les yeux des brebis, pour qu'elles entrassent en chaleur près des branches.
وحدث كلما توحّمت الغنم القوية ان يعقوب وضع القضبان امام عيون الغنم في الاجران. لتتوحّم بين القضبان.

But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.
Quand les brebis étaient chétives, il ne les plaçait point; de sorte que les chétives étaient pour Laban, et les vigoureuses pour Jacob.
وحين استضعفت الغنم لم يضعها. فصارت الضعيفة للابان والقوية ليعقوب.

And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.
Cet homme devint de plus en plus riche; il eut du menu bétail en abondance, des servantes et des serviteurs, des chameaux et des ânes.
فاتّسع الرجل كثيرا جدا. وكان له غنم كثير وجوار وعبيد وجمال وحمير
