Voici le livre de la postérité d'Adam. Lorsque Dieu créa l'homme, il le fit à la ressemblance de Dieu.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
هذا كتاب مواليد آدم. يوم خلق الله الانسان على شبه الله عمله

Il créa l'homme et la femme, il les bénit, et il les appela du nom d'homme, lorsqu'ils furent créés.
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
ذكرا وانثى خلقه وباركه ودعا اسمه آدم يوم خلق.

Adam, âgé de cent trente ans, engendra un fils à sa ressemblance, selon son image, et il lui donna le nom de Seth.
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
وعاش آدم مئة وثلاثين سنة وولد ولدا على شبهه كصورته ودعا اسمه شيثا.

Les jours d'Adam, après la naissance de Seth, furent de huit cents ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
وكانت ايام آدم بعدما ولد شيثا ثماني مئة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours qu'Adam vécut furent de neuf cent trente ans; puis il mourut.
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام آدم التي عاشها تسع مئة وثلاثين سنة ومات

Seth, âgé de cent cinq ans, engendra Énosch.
And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
وعاش شيث مئة وخمس سنين وولد أنوش.

Seth vécut, après la naissance d'Énosch, huit cent sept ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش شيث بعدما ولد أنوش ثماني مئة وسبع سنين وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours de Seth furent de neuf cent douze ans; puis il mourut.
And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام شيث تسع مئة واثنتي عشرة سنة ومات

Énosch, âgé de quatre-vingt-dix ans, engendra Kénan.
And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
وعاش أنوش تسعين سنة وولد قينان.

Énosch vécut, après la naissance de Kénan, huit cent quinze ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش أنوش بعدما ولد قينان ثماني مئة وخمس عشرة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours d'Énosch furent de neuf cent cinq ans; puis il mourut.
And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام أنوش تسع مئة وخمس سنين ومات

Kénan, âgé de soixante-dix ans, engendra Mahalaleel.
And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
وعاش قينان سبعين سنة وولد مهللئيل.

Kénan vécut, après la naissance de Mahalaleel, huit cent quarante ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش قينان بعدما ولد مهللئيل ثماني مئة واربعين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours de Kénan furent de neuf cent dix ans; puis il mourut.
And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام قينان تسع مئة وعشر سنين ومات

Mahalaleel, âgé de soixante-cinq ans, engendra Jéred.
And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
وعاش مهللئيل خمسا وستين سنة وولد يارد.

Mahalaleel vécut, après la naissance de Jéred, huit cent trente ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش مهللئيل بعدما ولد يارد ثماني مئة وثلاثين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام مهللئيل ثماني مئة وخمسا وتسعين سنة ومات

Jéred, âgé de cent soixante-deux ans, engendra Hénoc.
And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
وعاش يارد مئة واثنتين وستين سنة وولد اخنوخ.

Jéred vécut, après la naissance d'Hénoc, huit cents ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش يارد بعدما ولد اخنوخ ثماني مئة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام يارد تسع مئة واثنتين وستين سنة ومات

Hénoc, âgé de soixante-cinq ans, engendra Metuschélah.
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
وعاش اخنوخ خمسا وستين سنة وولد متوشالح.

Hénoc, après la naissance de Metuschélah, marcha avec Dieu trois cents ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
وسار اخنوخ مع الله بعدما ولد متوشالح ثلث مئة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours d'Hénoc furent de trois cent soixante-cinq ans.
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
فكانت كل ايام اخنوخ ثلث مئة وخمسا وستين سنة.

Hénoc marcha avec Dieu; puis il ne fut plus, parce que Dieu le prit.
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
وسار اخنوخ مع الله ولم يوجد لان الله اخذه

Metuschélah, âgé de cent quatre-vingt-sept ans, engendra Lémec.
And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
وعاش متوشالح مئة وسبعا وثمانين سنة وولد لامك.

Metuschélah vécut, après la naissance de Lémec, sept cent quatre-vingt deux ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش متوشالح بعدما ولد لامك سبع مئة واثنتين وثمانين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours de Metuschélah furent de neuf cent soixante-neuf ans; puis il mourut.
And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام متوشالح تسع مئة وتسعا وستين سنة ومات

Lémec, âgé de cent quatre-vingt-deux ans, engendra un fils.
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
وعاش لامك مئة واثنتين وثمانين سنة وولد ابنا.

Il lui donna le nom de Noé, en disant: Celui-ci nous consolera de nos fatigues et du travail pénible de nos mains, provenant de cette terre que l'Éternel a maudite.
And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
ودعا اسمه نوحا. قائلا هذا يعزّينا عن عملنا وتعب ايدينا من قبل الارض التي لعنها الرب.

Lémec vécut, après la naissance de Noé, cinq cent quatre-vingt-quinze ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
وعاش لامك بعدما ولد نوحا خمس مئة وخمسا وتسعين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.

Tous les jours de Lémec furent de sept cent soixante-dix sept ans; puis il mourut.
And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
فكانت كل ايام لامك سبع مئة وسبعا وسبعين سنة ومات

Noé, âgé de cinq cents ans, engendra Sem, Cham et Japhet.
And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
وكان نوح ابن خمس مئة سنة وولد نوح ساما وحاما ويافث
