    David passa en revue le peuple qui était avec lui, et il établit sur eux des chefs de milliers et des chefs de centaines.

    واحصى داود الشعب الذي معه وجعل عليهم رؤساء الوف ورؤساء مئات.

    Il plaça le tiers du peuple sous le commandement de Joab, le tiers sous celui d'Abischaï, fils de Tseruja, frère de Joab, et le tiers sous celui d'Ittaï, de Gath. Et le roi dit au peuple: Moi aussi, je veux sortir avec vous.

    وارسل داود الشعب ثلثا بيد يوآب وثلثا بيد ابيشاي ابن صروية اخي يوآب وثلثا بيد إتاي الجتّي. وقال الملك للشعب اني انا ايضا اخرج معكم.

    Mais le peuple dit: Tu ne sortiras point! Car si nous prenons la fuite, ce n'est pas sur nous que l'attention se portera; et quand la moitié d'entre nous succomberait, on n'y ferait pas attention; mais toi, tu es comme dix mille de nous, et maintenant il vaut mieux que de la ville tu puisses venir à notre secours.

    فقال الشعب لا تخرج لاننا اذا هربنا لا يبالون بنا واذا مات نصفنا لا يبالون بنا. والآن انت كعشرة آلاف منا. والآن الاصلح ان تكون لنا نجدة من المدينة.

    Le roi leur répondit: Je ferai ce qui vous paraît bon. Et le roi se tint à côté de la porte, pendant que tout le peuple sortait par centaines et par milliers.

    فقال لهم الملك ما يحسن في اعينكم افعله. فوقف الملك بجانب الباب وخرج جميع الشعب مئات والوفا.

    Le roi donna cet ordre à Joab, à Abischaï et à Ittaï: Pour l'amour de moi, doucement avec le jeune Absalom! Et tout le peuple entendit l'ordre du roi à tous les chefs au sujet d'Absalom.

    واوصى الملك يوآب وابيشاي واتّاي قائلا ترفقوا لي بالفتى ابشالوم. وسمع جميع الشعب حين اوصى الملك جميع الرؤساء بابشالوم.

    Le peuple sortit dans les champs à la rencontre d'Israël, et la bataille eut lieu dans la forêt d'Éphraïm.

    وخرج الشعب الى الحقل للقاء اسرائيل. وكان القتال في وعر افرايم.

    Là, le peuple d'Israël fut battu par les serviteurs de David, et il y eut en ce jour une grande défaite de vingt mille hommes.

    فانكسر هناك شعب اسرائيل امام عبيد داود وكانت هناك مقتلة عظيمة في ذلك اليوم. قتل عشرون الفا.

    Le combat s'étendit sur toute la contrée, et la forêt dévora plus de peuple ce jour-là que l'épée n'en dévora.

    وكان القتال هناك منتشرا على وجه كل الارض وزاد الذين اكلهم الوعر من الشعب على الذين اكلهم السيف في ذلك اليوم.

    Absalom se trouva en présence des gens de David. Il était monté sur un mulet. Le mulet pénétra sous les branches entrelacées d'un grand térébinthe, et la tête d'Absalom fut prise au térébinthe; il demeura suspendu entre le ciel et la terre, et le mulet qui était sous lui passa outre.

    وصادف ابشالوم عبيد داود وكان ابشالوم راكبا على بغل فدخل البغل تحت اغصان البطمة العظيمة الملتفّة فتعلّق راسه بالبطمة وعلّق بين السماء والارض والبغل الذي تحته مرّ.

    Un homme ayant vu cela vint dire à Joab: Voici, j'ai vu Absalom suspendu à un térébinthe.

    فرأه رجل واخبر يوآب وقال اني قد رأيت ابشالوم معلقا بالبطمة.

    And앤드 Joab조우애브 said세드 unto언투 the더 man맨 that댓 told토울드 him,힘 And,앤드 behold,비호울드 thou다우 sawest소이스트 him,힘 and앤드 why와이 didst디드스트 thou다우 not낫 smite스마잇 him힘 there데어 to투 the더 ground?그라운드 And앤드 I아이 would우드 have해브 given기븐 thee디 ten텐 shekels셰클즈 of어브 silver,실버 and앤드 a어 girdle.거들

    Et Joab dit à l'homme qui lui apporta cette nouvelle: Tu l'as vu! pourquoi donc ne l'as-tu pas abattu sur place? Je t'aurais donné dix sicles d'argent et une ceinture.

    فقال يوآب للرجل الذي اخبره انك قد رأيته فلماذا لم تضربه هناك الى الارض وعليّ ان اعطيك عشرة من الفضة ومنطقة.

    And앤드 the더 man맨 said세드 unto언투 Joab,조우애브 Though도우 I아이 should슈드 receive러시브 a어 thousand싸우즌드 shekels셰클즈 of어브 silver실버 in인 mine마인 hand,핸드 yet옛 would우드 I아이 not낫 put풋 forth포스 mine마인 hand핸드 against어겐스트 the더 king's킹즈 son:선 for포 in인 our아워 hearing히링 the더 king킹 charged차지드 thee디 and앤드 Abishai애비샤이 and앤드 Ittai,이타이 saying,세이잉 Beware비웨어 that댓 none넌 touch터치 the더 young영 man맨 Absalom.애브설럼

    Mais cet homme dit à Joab: Quand je pèserais dans ma main mille sicles d'argent, je ne mettrais pas la main sur le fils du roi; car nous avons entendu cet ordre que le roi t'a donné, à toi, à Abischaï et à Ittaï: Prenez garde chacun au jeune Absalom!

    فقال الرجل ليوآب فلو وزن في يدي الف من الفضة لما كنت امد يدي الى ابن الملك. لان الملك اوصاك في آذاننا انت وابيشاي واتّاي قائلا احترزوا ايّا كان منكم على الفتى ابشالوم.

    Otherwise어더와이즈 I아이 should슈드 have해브 wrought롯 falsehood팰스후드 against어겐스트 mine마인 own온 life:라이프 for포 there데어 is이즈 no노우 matter매터 hid히드 from프럼 the더 king,킹 and앤드 thou다우 thyself다이셀프 wouldest우디스트 have해브 set셋 thyself다이셀프 against어겐스트 me.미

    Et si j'eusse attenté perfidement à sa vie, rien n'aurait été caché au roi, et tu aurais été toi-même contre moi.

    والا فكنت فعلت بنفسي زورا اذ لا يخفى عن الملك شيء وانت كنت وقفت ضدّي.

    Then덴 said세드 Joab,조우애브 I아이 may메이 not낫 tarry테리 thus더스 with위드 thee.디 And앤드 he히 took툭 three쓰리 darts다트스 in인 his히즈 hand,핸드 and앤드 thrust쓰러스트 them뎀 through쓰루 the더 heart하트 of어브 Absalom,애브설럼 while와일 he히 was워즈 yet옛 alive얼라이브 in인 the더 midst미드스트 of어브 the디 oak.오우크

    Joab dit: Je ne m'arrêterai pas auprès de toi! Et il prit en main trois javelots, et les enfonça dans le coeur d'Absalom encore plein de vie au milieu du térébinthe.

    فقال يوآب اني لا اصبر هكذا امامك. فاخذ ثلاثة سهام بيده ونشبها في قلب ابشالوم وهو بعد حيّ في قلب البطمة

    And앤드 ten텐 young영 men멘 that댓 bare베어 Joab's조우애브즈 armour아머 compassed컴피스트 about어바웃 and앤드 smote스모우트 Absalom,애브설럼 and앤드 slew슬루 him.힘

    Dix jeunes gens, qui portaient les armes de Joab, entourèrent Absalom, le frappèrent et le firent mourir.

    واحاط بها عشرة غلمان حاملو سلاح يوآب وضربوا ابشالوم واماتوه.

    And앤드 Joab조우애브 blew블루 the더 trumpet,트럼핏 and앤드 the더 people피플 returned리턴드 from프럼 pursuing퍼수잉 after애프터 Israel:이즈리얼 for포 Joab조우애브 held헬드 back백 the더 people.피플

    Joab fit sonner de la trompette; et le peuple revint, cessant ainsi de poursuivre Israël, parce que Joab l'en empêcha.

    وضرب يوآب بالبوق فرجع الشعب عن اتّباع اسرائيل لان يوآب منع الشعب.

    And앤드 they데이 took툭 Absalom,애브설럼 and앤드 cast캐스트 him힘 into인투 a어 great그레잇 pit핏 in인 the더 wood,우드 and앤드 laid레이드 a어 very베리 great그레잇 heap힙 of어브 stones스톤즈 upon어판 him:힘 and앤드 all올 Israel이즈리얼 fled플레드 every에버리 one원 to투 his히즈 tent.텐트

    Ils prirent Absalom, le jetèrent dans une grande fosse au milieu de la forêt, et mirent sur lui un très grand monceau de pierres. Tout Israël s'enfuit, chacun dans sa tente.

    واخذوا ابشالوم وطرحوه في الوعر في الجبّ العظيم واقاموا عليه رجمة عظيمة جدا من الحجارة. وهرب كل اسرائيل كل واحد الى خيمته.

    Now나우 Absalom애브설럼 in인 his히즈 lifetime라이프타임 had해드 taken테이큰 and앤드 reared리어드 up업 for포 himself힘셀프 a어 pillar,필러 which위치 is이즈 in인 the더 king's킹즈 dale:데일 for포 he히 said,세드 I아이 have해브 no노우 son선 to투 keep킵 my마이 name네임 in인 remembrance:리멤브런스 and앤드 he히 called콜드 the더 pillar필러 after애프터 his히즈 own온 name:네임 and앤드 it잇 is이즈 called콜드 unto언투 this디스 day,데이 Absalom's애브설럼즈 place.플레이스

    De son vivant, Absalom s'était fait ériger un monument dans la vallée du roi; car il disait: Je n'ai point de fils par qui le souvenir de mon nom puisse être conservé. Et il donna son propre nom au monument, qu'on appelle encore aujourd'hui monument d'Absalom.

    وكان ابشالوم قد اخذ واقام لنفسه وهو حيّ النصب الذي في وادي الملك لانه قال ليس لي ابن لاجل تذكير اسمي. ودعا النصب باسمه وهو يدعى يد ابشالوم الى هذا اليوم

    Then덴 said세드 Ahimaaz애히마즈 the더 son선 of어브 Zadok,자덕 Let렛 me미 now나우 run,런 and앤드 bear베어 the더 king킹 tidings,타이딩즈 how하우 that댓 the더 LORD로드 hath해스 avenged어벤지드 him힘 of어브 his히즈 enemies.에너미즈

    Achimaats, fils de Tsadok, dit: Laisse-moi courir, et porter au roi la bonne nouvelle que l'Éternel lui a rendu justice en le délivrant de la main de ses ennemis.

    وقال اخيمعص بن صادوق دعني اجر فابشر الملك لان الله قد انتقم له من اعدائه.

    And앤드 Joab조우애브 said세드 unto언투 him,힘 Thou다우 shalt섈트 not낫 bear베어 tidings타이딩즈 this디스 day,데이 but벗 thou다우 shalt섈트 bear베어 tidings타이딩즈 another어너더 day:데이 but벗 this디스 day데이 thou다우 shalt섈트 bear베어 no노우 tidings,타이딩즈 because비코즈 the더 king's킹즈 son선 is이즈 dead.데드

    Joab lui dit: Ce n'est pas toi qui dois porter aujourd'hui les nouvelles; tu les porteras un autre jour, mais non aujourd'hui, puisque le fils du roi est mort.

    فقال له يوآب ما انت صاحب بشارة في هذا اليوم. في يوم آخر تبشّر وهذا اليوم لا تبشّر من اجل ان ابن الملك قد مات.

    Then덴 said세드 Joab조우애브 to투 Cushi,쿠쉬 Go고우 tell텔 the더 king킹 what왓 thou다우 hast해스트 seen.신 And앤드 Cushi쿠쉬 bowed바우드 himself힘셀프 unto언투 Joab,조우애브 and앤드 ran.랜

    Et Joab dit à Cuschi: Va, et annonce au roi ce que tu as vu. Cuschi se prosterna devant Joab, et courut.

    وقال يوآب لكوشي اذهب واخبر الملك بما رأيت. فسجد كوشي ليوآب وركض.

    Then덴 said세드 Ahimaaz애히마즈 the더 son선 of어브 Zadok자덕 yet옛 again어겐 to투 Joab,조우애브 But벗 howsoever,하우소우에버 let렛 me,미 I아이 pray프레이 thee,디 also올소 run런 after애프터 Cushi.쿠쉬 And앤드 Joab조우애브 said,세드 Wherefore웨어포 wilt윌트 thou다우 run,런 my마이 son,선 seeing시잉 that댓 thou다우 hast해스트 no노우 tidings타이딩즈 ready?레디

    Achimaats, fils de Tsadok, dit encore à Joab: Quoi qu'il arrive, laisse-moi courir après Cuschi. Et Joab dit: Pourquoi veux-tu courir, mon fils? Ce n'est pas un message qui te sera profitable.

    وعاد ايضا اخيمعص بن صادوق فقال ليوآب مهما كان فدعني أجر انا ايضا وراء كوشي. فقال يوآب لماذا تجري انت يا ابني وليس لك بشارة تجازى.

    But벗 howsoever,하우소우에버 said세드 he,히 let렛 me미 run.런 And앤드 he히 said세드 unto언투 him,힘 Run.런 Then덴 Ahimaaz애히마즈 ran랜 by바이 the더 way웨이 of어브 the더 plain,플레인 and앤드 overran오우버랜 Cushi.쿠쉬

    Quoi qu'il arrive, je veux courir, reprit Achimaats. Et Joab lui dit: Cours! Achimaats courut par le chemin de la plaine, et il devança Cuschi.

    قال مهما كان اجري. فقال له اجر. فجرى اخيمعص في طريق الغور وسبق كوشي

    And앤드 David데이비드 sat샛 between비트윈 the더 two투 gates:게잇스 and앤드 the더 watchman와치먼 went웬트 up업 to투 the더 roof루프 over오우버 the더 gate게잇 unto언투 the더 wall,월 and앤드 lifted리프티드 up업 his히즈 eyes,아이즈 and앤드 looked,룩트 and앤드 behold비호울드 a어 man맨 running러닝 alone.얼론

    David était assis entre les deux portes. La sentinelle alla sur le toit de la porte vers la muraille; elle leva les yeux et regarda. Et voici, un homme courait tout seul.

    وكان داود جالسا بين البابين وطلع الرقيب الى سطح الباب الى السور ورفع عينيه ونظر واذا برجل يجري وحده.

    And앤드 the더 watchman와치먼 cried,크라이드 and앤드 told토울드 the더 king.킹 And앤드 the더 king킹 said,세드 If이프 he히 be비 alone,얼론 there데어 is이즈 tidings타이딩즈 in인 his히즈 mouth.마우스 And앤드 he히 came케임 apace,어페이스 and앤드 drew드루 near.니어

    La sentinelle cria, et avertit le roi. Le roi dit: S'il est seul, il apporte des nouvelles. Et cet homme arrivait toujours plus près.

    فنادى الرقيب واخبر الملك. فقال الملك ان كان وحده ففي فمه بشارة. وكان يسعى ويقرب.

    And앤드 the더 watchman와치먼 saw소 another어너더 man맨 running:러닝 and앤드 the더 watchman와치먼 called콜드 unto언투 the더 porter,포터 and앤드 said,세드 Behold비호울드 another어너더 man맨 running러닝 alone.얼론 And앤드 the더 king킹 said,세드 He히 also올소 bringeth브리니스 tidings.타이딩즈

    La sentinelle vit un autre homme qui courait; elle cria au portier: Voici un homme qui court tout seul. Le roi dit: Il apporte aussi des nouvelles.

    ثم رأى الرقيب رجلا آخر يجري. فنادى الرقيب البواب وقال هوذا رجل يجري وحده. فقال الملك وهذا ايضا مبشّر.

    And앤드 the더 watchman와치먼 said,세드 Me미 thinketh씽키스 the더 running러닝 of어브 the더 foremost포모우스트 is이즈 like라이크 the더 running러닝 of어브 Ahimaaz애히마즈 the더 son선 of어브 Zadok.자덕 And앤드 the더 king킹 said,세드 He히 is이즈 a어 good굿 man,맨 and앤드 cometh커미스 with위드 good굿 tidings.타이딩즈

    La sentinelle dit: La manière de courir du premier me paraît celle d'Achimaats, fils de Tsadok. Et le roi dit: C'est un homme de bien, et il apporte de bonnes nouvelles.

    وقال الرقيب اني ارى جري الاول كجري اخيمعص بن صادوق. فقال الملك هذا رجل صالح ويأتي ببشارة صالحة.

    And앤드 Ahimaaz애히마즈 called,콜드 and앤드 said세드 unto언투 the더 king,킹 All올 is이즈 well.웰 And앤드 he히 fell펠 down다운 to투 the디 earth얼스 upon어판 his히즈 face페이스 before비포 the더 king,킹 and앤드 said,세드 Blessed블레스트 be비 the더 LORD로드 thy다이 God,갓 which위치 hath해스 delivered딜리버드 up업 the더 men멘 that댓 lifted리프티드 up업 their데어 hand핸드 against어겐스트 my마이 lord로드 the더 king.킹

    Achimaats cria, et il dit au roi: Tout va bien! Il se prosterna devant le roi la face contre terre, et dit: Béni soit l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui a livré les hommes qui levaient la main contre le roi mon seigneur!

    فنادى اخيمعص وقال للملك السلام وسجد للملك على وجهه الى الارض. وقال مبارك الرب الهك الذي دفع القوم الذين رفعوا ايديهم على سيدي الملك.

    And앤드 the더 king킹 said,세드 Is이즈 the더 young영 man맨 Absalom애브설럼 safe?세이프 And앤드 Ahimaaz애히마즈 answered,앤서드 When웬 Joab조우애브 sent센트 the더 king's킹즈 servant,서번트 and앤드 me미 thy다이 servant,서번트 I아이 saw소 a어 great그레잇 tumult,투멀트 but벗 I아이 knew누 not낫 what왓 it잇 was.워즈

    Le roi dit: Le jeune Absalom est-il en bonne santé? Achimaats répondit: J'ai aperçu un grand tumulte au moment où Joab envoya le serviteur du roi et moi ton serviteur; mais je ne sais ce que c'était.

    فقال الملك أسلام للفتى ابشالوم. فقال اخيمعص قد رأيت جمهورا عظيما عند ارسال يوآب عبد الملك وعبدك ولم اعلم ماذا.

    And앤드 the더 king킹 said세드 unto언투 him,힘 Turn턴 aside,어사이드 and앤드 stand스탠드 here.히어 And앤드 he히 turned턴드 aside,어사이드 and앤드 stood스투드 still.스틸

    Et le roi dit: Mets-toi là de côté. Et Achimaats se tint de côté.

    فقال الملك در وقف ههنا. فدار ووقف.

    And,앤드 behold,비호울드 Cushi쿠쉬 came;케임 and앤드 Cushi쿠쉬 said,세드 Tidings,타이딩즈 my마이 lord로드 the더 king:킹 for포 the더 LORD로드 hath해스 avenged어벤지드 thee디 this디스 day데이 of어브 all올 them뎀 that댓 rose로우즈 up업 against어겐스트 thee.디

    Aussitôt arriva Cuschi. Et il dit: Que le roi mon seigneur apprenne la bonne nouvelle! Aujourd'hui l'Éternel t'a rendu justice en te délivrant de la main de tous ceux qui s'élevaient contre toi.

    واذا بكوشي قد اتى وقال كوشي ليبشّر سيدي الملك لان الرب قد انتقم لك اليوم من جميع القائمين عليك.
