Voici, un homme de Dieu arriva de Juda à Béthel, par la parole de l'Éternel, pendant que Jéroboam se tenait à l'autel pour brûler des parfums.
И вот, человек Божий пришел из Иудеи по слову Господню в Вефиль, вто время, как Иеровоам стоял у жертвенника, чтобы совершить курение.
And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

Il cria contre l'autel, par la parole de l'Éternel, et il dit: Autel! autel! ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, il naîtra un fils à la maison de David; son nom sera Josias; il immolera sur toi les prêtres des hauts lieux qui brûlent sur toi des parfums, et l'on brûlera sur toi des ossements d'hommes!
И произнес к жертвеннику слово Господне и сказал: жертвенник,жертвенник! так говорит Господь: вот, родится сын дому Давидову, имя ему Иосия, и принесет на тебе в жертвусвященников высот, совершающих на тебе курение, и человеческие кости сожжет на тебе.
And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.

Et le même jour il donna un signe, en disant: C'est ici le signe que l'Éternel a parlé: Voici, l'autel se fendra, et la cendre qui est dessus sera répandue.
И дал в тот день знамение, сказав: вот знамение того, что это изрек Господь: вот, этот жертвенник распадется, и пепел, который на нем, рассыплется.
And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

Lorsque le roi entendit la parole que l'homme de Dieu avait criée contre l'autel de Béthel, il avança la main de dessus l'autel, en disant: Saisissez le! Et la main que Jéroboam avait étendue contre lui devint sèche, et il ne put la ramener à soi.
Когда царь услышал слово человека Божия, произнесенное к жертвеннику в Вефиле, то простер Иеровоам руку свою от жертвенника, говоря: возьмите его. И одеревенела рука его, которую он простер на него, и не мог онповоротить ее к себе.
And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

L'autel se fendit, et la cendre qui était dessus fut répandue, selon le signe qu'avait donné l'homme de Dieu, par la parole de l'Éternel.
И жертвенник распался, и пепел с жертвенника рассыпался, по знамению, которое дал человек Божий словом Господним.
The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

Alors le roi prit la parole, et dit à l'homme de Dieu: Implore l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et prie pour moi, afin que je puisse retirer ma main. L'homme de Dieu implora l'Éternel, et le roi put retirer sa main, qui fut comme auparavant.
И сказал царь человеку Божию: умилостиви лице Господа Бога твоего и помолись обо мне, чтобы рука моя могла поворотиться ко мне. И умилостивилчеловек Божий лице Господа, и рука царя поворотилась к нему и стала, как прежде.
And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Entreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

Le roi dit à l'homme de Dieu: Entre avec moi dans la maison, tu prendras quelque nourriture, et je te donnerai un présent.
И сказал царь человеку Божию: зайди со мною в дом и подкрепи себя пищею, и я дам тебе подарок.
And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.

L'homme de Dieu dit au roi: Quand tu me donnerais la moitié de ta maison, je n'entrerais pas avec toi. Je ne mangerai point de pain, et je ne boirai point d'eau dans ce lieu-ci;
Но человек Божий сказал царю: хотя бы ты давал мне полдома твоего, я не пойду с тобою и не буду есть хлеба и не буду пить воды в этом месте,
And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

car cet ordre m'a été donné, par la parole de l'Éternel: Tu ne mangeras point de pain et tu ne boiras point d'eau, et tu ne prendras pas à ton retour le chemin par lequel tu seras allé.
ибо так заповедано мне словом Господним: „не ешь там хлеба и не пей воды и не возвращайся тою дорогою, которою ты шел".
For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

Et il s'en alla par un autre chemin, il ne prit pas à son retour le chemin par lequel il était venu à Béthel.
И пошел он другою дорогою и не пошел обратно тою дорогою, которою пришел в Вефиль.
So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.

Or il y avait un vieux prophète qui demeurait à Béthel. Ses fils vinrent lui raconter toutes les choses que l'homme de Dieu avait faites à Béthel ce jour-là, et les paroles qu'il avait dites au roi. Lorsqu'ils en eurent fait le récit à leur père,
В Вефиле жил один пророк-старец. Сын его пришел и рассказал ему все, что сделал сегодня человек Божий в Вефиле; и слова, какие он говорил царю, пересказали сыновья отцу своему.
Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.

il leur dit: Par quel chemin s'en est-il allé? Ses fils avaient vu par quel chemin s'en était allé l'homme de Dieu qui était venu de Juda.
И спросил их отец их: какою дорогою он пошел? И показали сыновья его, какою дорогою пошел человек Божий, приходивший из Иудеи.
And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

Et il dit à ses fils: Sellez-moi l'âne. Ils lui sellèrent l'âne, et il monta dessus.
И сказал он сыновьям своим: оседлайте мне осла. И оседлали ему осла, и он сел на него.
And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

Il alla après l'homme de Dieu, et il le trouva assis sous un térébinthe. Il lui dit: Es-tu l'homme de Dieu qui est venu de Juda? Il répondit: Je le suis.
И поехал за человеком Божиим, и нашел его сидящего под дубом, и сказал ему: ты ли человек Божий, пришедший из Иудеи? И сказал тот: я.
And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

Alors il lui dit: Viens avec moi à la maison, et tu prendras quelque nourriture.
И сказал ему: зайди ко мне в дом и поешь хлеба.
Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

Mais il répondit: Je ne puis ni retourner avec toi, ni entrer chez toi. Je ne mangerai point de pain, je ne boirai point d'eau avec toi en ce lieu-ci;
Тот сказал: я не могу возвратиться с тобою и пойти к тебе; не буду есть хлеба и не буду пить у тебя воды в сем месте,
And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

car il m'a été dit, par la parole de l'Éternel: Tu n'y mangeras point de pain et tu n'y boiras point d'eau, et tu ne prendras pas à ton retour le chemin par lequel tu seras allé.
ибо словом Господним сказано мне: „не ешь хлеба и не пей там воды и не возвращайся тою дорогою, которою ты шел".
For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

Et il lui dit: Moi aussi, je suis prophète comme toi; et un ange m'a parlé de la part de l'Éternel, et m'a dit: Ramène-le avec toi dans ta maison, et qu'il mange du pain et boive de l'eau. Il lui mentait.
И сказал он ему: и я пророк такой же, как ты, и Ангел говорил мне словом Господним, и сказал: „вороти его к себе в дом; пусть поест он хлеба и напьется воды". – Он солгал ему.
He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

L'homme de Dieu retourna avec lui, et il mangea du pain et but de l'eau dans sa maison.
И тот воротился с ним, и поел хлеба в его доме, и напился воды.
So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

Comme ils étaient assis à table, la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée au prophète qui l'avait ramené.
Когда они еще сидели за столом, слово Господне было к пророку, воротившему его.
And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:
-

Et il cria à l'homme de Dieu qui était venu de Juda: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Parce que tu as été rebelle à l'ordre de l'Éternel, et que tu n'as pas observé le commandement que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'avait donné;
И произнес он к человеку Божию, пришедшему из Иудеи, и сказал: так говорит Господь: за то, что ты не повиновался устам Господа и не соблюл повеления, котороезаповедал тебе Господь Бог твой,
And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,

parce que tu es retourné, et que tu as mangé du pain et bu de l'eau dans le lieu dont il t'avait dit: Tu n'y mangeras point de pain et tu n'y boiras point d'eau, -ton cadavre n'entrera pas dans le sépulcre de tes pères.
но воротился, ел хлеб и пил воду в том месте,о котором Он сказал тебе: „не ешь хлеба и не пей воды", тело твое невойдет в гробницу отцов твоих.
But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

Et quand le prophète qu'il avait ramené eut mangé du pain et qu'il eut bu de l'eau, il sella l'âne pour lui.
После того, как тот поел хлеба и напился, он оседлал осла для пророка, которого он воротил.
And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

L'homme de Dieu s'en alla: et il fut rencontré dans le chemin par un lion qui le tua. Son cadavre était étendu dans le chemin; l'âne resta près de lui, et le lion se tint à côté du cadavre.
И отправился тот. И встретил его на дороге лев и умертвил его. Илежало тело его, брошенное на дороге; осел же стоял подле него, и лев стоял подле тела.
And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

Et voici, des gens qui passaient virent le cadavre étendu dans le chemin et le lion se tenant à côté du cadavre; et ils en parlèrent à leur arrivée dans la ville où demeurait le vieux prophète.
И вот, проходившие мимо люди увидели тело, брошенное на дороге, и льва, стоящего подле тела, и пошли и рассказали в городе, в котором жил пророк-старец.
And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

Lorsque le prophète qui avait ramené du chemin l'homme de Dieu l'eut appris, il dit: C'est l'homme de Dieu qui a été rebelle à l'ordre de l'Éternel, et l'Éternel l'a livré au lion, qui l'a déchiré et l'a fait mourir, selon la parole que l'Éternel lui avait dite.
Пророк, воротивший его с дороги, услышав это, сказал: этотот человек Божий, который не повиновался устам Господа; Господь предал его льву, который изломал его и умертвил его, по слову Господа, которое Он изрек ему.
And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

Puis, s'adressant à ses fils, il dit: Sellez-moi l'âne. Ils le sellèrent,
И сказал сыновьям своим: оседлайте мне осла. И оседлали они.
And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

et il partit. Il trouva le cadavre étendu dans le chemin, et l'âne et le lion qui se tenaient à côté du cadavre. Le lion n'avait pas dévoré le cadavre et n'avait pas déchiré l'âne.
Он отправился и нашел тело его, брошенное на дороге; осел же и лев стояли подле тела; лев не съел тела и не изломал осла.
And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.

Le prophète releva le cadavre de l'homme de Dieu, le plaça sur l'âne, et le ramena; et le vieux prophète rentra dans la ville pour le pleurer et pour l'enterrer.
И поднял пророк тело человека Божия, и положил его на осла, и повез его обратно. И пошел пророк-старец в город свой, чтобы оплакать и похоронить его.
And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

Il mit son cadavre dans le sépulcre, et l'on pleura sur lui, en disant: Hélas, mon frère!
И положил тело его в своей гробнице и плакал по нем: увы, братмой!
And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!

Après l'avoir enterré, il dit à ses fils: Quand je serai mort, vous m'enterrerez dans le sépulcre où est enterré l'homme de Dieu, vous déposerez mes os à côté de ses os.
После погребения его он сказал сыновьям своим: когда я умру, похороните меня в гробнице, в которой погребен человек Божий; подле костей егоположите кости мои;
And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:

Car elle s'accomplira, la parole qu'il a criée, de la part de l'Éternel, contre l'autel de Béthel et contre toutes les maisons des hauts lieux qui sont dans les villes de Samarie.
ибо сбудется слово, которое он по повелению Господню произнес о жертвеннике в Вефиле и о всех капищах на высотах, в городах Самарийских.
For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

Après cet événement, Jéroboam ne se détourna point de sa mauvaise voie. Il créa de nouveau des prêtres des hauts lieux pris parmi tout le peuple; quiconque en avait le désir, il le consacrait prêtre des hauts lieux.
И после сего события Иеровоам не сошел со своей худой дороги, но продолжал ставить из народа священников высот; кто хотел, того он посвящал, и тот становился священником высот.
After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.

Ce fut là une occasion de péché pour la maison de Jéroboam, et c'est pour cela qu'elle a été exterminée et détruite de dessus la face de la terre.
Это вело дом Иеровоамов ко греху и к погибели и к истреблению его с лица земли.
And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
