2 Kings 14-
1
In the second year of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel reigned Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah.
في السنة الثانية ليوآش بن يوآحاز ملك اسرائيل ملك امصيا بن يوآش ملك يهوذا.
La seconde année de Joas, fils de Joachaz, roi d'Israël, Amatsia, fils de Joas, roi de Juda, régna.

He was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.
كان ابن خمس وعشرين سنة حين ملك. وملك تسعا وعشرين سنة في اورشليم. واسم امه يهوعدّان من اورشليم.
Il avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna vingt-neuf ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Joaddan, de Jérusalem.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, yet not like David his father: he did according to all things as Joash his father did.
وعمل ما هو مستقيم في عيني الرب ولكن ليس كداود ابيه. عمل حسب كل ما عمل يوآش ابوه.
Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, non pas toutefois comme David, son père; il agit entièrement comme avait agi Joas, son père.

Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as yet the people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places.
الا ان المرتفعات لم تنتزع بل كان الشعب لا يزالون يذبحون ويوقدون على المرتفعات.
Seulement, les hauts-lieux ne disparurent point; le peuple offrait encore des sacrifices et des parfums sur les hauts-lieux.

And it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, that he slew his servants which had slain the king his father.
ولما تثبتت المملكة بيده قتل عبيده الذين قتلوا الملك اباه.
Lorsque la royauté fut affermie entre ses mains, il frappa ses serviteurs qui avaient tué le roi, son père.

But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
ولكنه لم يقتل ابناء القاتلين حسب ما هو مكتوب في سفر شريعة موسى حيث أمر الرب قائلا لا يقتل الآباء من اجل البنين والبنون لا يقتلون من اجل الآباء. انما كل انسان يقتل بخطيته.
Mais il ne fit pas mourir les fils des meurtriers, selon ce qui est écrit dans le livre de la loi de Moïse, où l'Éternel donne ce commandement: On ne fera point mourir les pères pour les enfants, et l'on ne fera point mourir les enfants pour les pères; mais on fera mourir chacun pour son péché.

He slew of Edom in the valley of salt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel unto this day.
هو قتل من ادوم في وادي الملح عشرة آلاف واخذ سالع بالحرب ودعا اسمها يقتئيل الى هذا اليوم
Il battit dix mille Édomites dans la vallée du sel; et durant la guerre, il prit Séla, et l'appela Joktheel, nom qu'elle a conservé jusqu'à ce jour.

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.
حينئذ ارسل امصيا رسلا الى يهواش بن يهوآحاز بن ياهو ملك اسرائيل قائلا هلم نتراء مواجهة.
Alors Amatsia envoya des messagers à Joas, fils de Joachaz, fils de Jéhu, roi d'Israël, pour lui dire: Viens, voyons-nous en face!

And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
فارسل يهوآش ملك اسرائيل الى امصيا ملك يهوذا قائلا. العوسج الذي في لبنان ارسل الى الارز الذي في لبنان يقول اعط ابنتك لابني امرأة. فعبر حيوان بري كان في لبنان وداس العوسج.
Et Joas, roi d'Israël, fit dire à Amatsia, roi de Juda: L'épine du Liban envoya dire au cèdre du Liban: Donne ta fille pour femme à mon fils! Et les bêtes sauvages qui sont au Liban passèrent et foulèrent l'épine.

Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
انك قد ضربت ادوم فرفعك قلبك. تمجد واقم في بيتك. ولماذا تهجم على الشر فتسقط انت ويهوذا معك.
Tu as battu les Édomites, et ton coeur s'élève. Jouis de ta gloire, et reste chez toi. Pourquoi t'engager dans une malheureuse entreprise, qui amènerait ta ruine et celle de Juda?

But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.
فلم يسمع امصيا فصعد يهوآش ملك اسرائيل وتراءيا مواجهة هو وامصيا ملك يهوذا في بيت شمس التي ليهوذا.
Mais Amatsia ne l'écouta pas. Et Joas, roi d'Israël, monta; et ils se virent en face, lui et Amatsia, roi de Juda, à Beth Schémesch, qui est à Juda.

And Judah was put to the worse before Israel; and they fled every man to their tents.
فانهزم يهوذا امام اسرائيل وهربوا كل واحد الى خيمته.
Juda fut battu par Israël, et chacun s'enfuit dans sa tente.

And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Bethshemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
واما امصيا ملك يهوذا ابن يهوآش بن اخزيا فامسكه يهوآش ملك اسرائيل في بيت شمس وجاء الى اورشليم وهدم سور اورشليم من باب افرايم الى باب الزاوية اربع مئة ذراع.
Joas, roi d'Israël, prit à Beth Schémesch Amatsia, roi de Juda, fils de Joas, fils d'Achazia. Il vint à Jérusalem, et fit une brèche de quatre cents coudées dans la muraille de Jérusalem, depuis la porte d'Éphraïm jusqu'à la porte de l'angle.

And he took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house, and hostages, and returned to Samaria.
واخذ كل الذهب والفضة وجميع الآنية الموجودة في بيت الرب وفي خزائن بيت الملك والرهناء ورجع الى السامرة.
Il prit tout l'or et l'argent et tous les vases qui se trouvaient dans la maison de l'Éternel et dans les trésors de la maison du roi; il prit aussi des otages, et il retourna à Samarie.

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might, and how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
وبقية امور يهوآش التي عمل وجبروته وكيف حارب امصيا ملك يهوذا أما هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل.
Le reste des actions de Joas, ce qu'il a fait, ses exploits, et la guerre qu'il eut avec Amatsia, roi de Juda, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël?

And Jehoash slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel; and Jeroboam his son reigned in his stead.
ثم اضطجع يهوآش مع آبائه ودفن في السامرة مع ملوك اسرائيل وملك يربعام ابنه عوضا عنه
Joas se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré à Samarie avec les rois d'Israël. Et Jéroboam, son fils, régna à sa place.

And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.
وعاش امصيا بن يوآش ملك يهوذا بعد وفاة يهوآش بن يهوآحاز ملك اسرائيل خمس عشرة سنة.
Amatsia, fils de Joas, roi de Juda, vécut quinze ans après la mort de Joas, fils de Joachaz, roi d'Israël.

And the rest of the acts of Amaziah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
وبقية امور امصيا أما هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك يهوذا.
Le reste des actions d'Amatsia, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?

Now they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem: and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish, and slew him there.
وفتنوا عليه فتنة في اورشليم فهرب الى لخيش فارسلوا وراءه الى لخيش وقتلوه هناك.
On forma contre lui une conspiration à Jérusalem, et il s'enfuit à Lakis; mais on le poursuivit à Lakis, où on le fit mourir.

And they brought him on horses: and he was buried at Jerusalem with his fathers in the city of David.
وحملوه على الخيل فدفن في اورشليم مع آبائه في مدينة داود.
On le transporta sur des chevaux, et il fut enterré à Jérusalem avec ses pères, dans la ville de David.

And all the people of Judah took Azariah, which was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.
واخذ كل شعب يهوذا عزريا وهو ابن ست عشرة سنة وملّكوه عوضا عن ابيه امصيا.
Et tout le peuple de Juda prit Azaria, âgé de seize ans, et l'établit roi à la place de son père Amatsia.

He built Elath, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.
هو بنى ايلة واستردها ليهوذا بعد اضطجاع الملك مع آبائه
Azaria rebâtit Élath et la fit rentrer sous la puissance de Juda, après que le roi fut couché avec ses pères.

In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and reigned forty and one years.
في السنة الخامسة عشرة لامصيا بن يوآش ملك يهوذا ملك يربعام بن يوآش ملك اسرائيل في السامرة احدى واربعين سنة.
La quinzième année d'Amatsia, fils de Joas, roi de Juda, Jéroboam, fils de Joas, roi d'Israël, régna à Samarie. Il régna quarante et un ans.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
وعمل الشر في عيني الرب. لم يحد عن شيء من خطايا يربعام بن نباط الذي جعل اسرائيل يخطئ.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel; il ne se détourna d'aucun des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël.

He restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the plain, according to the word of the LORD God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, the prophet, which was of Gathhepher.
هو رد تخم اسرائيل من مدخل حماة الى بحر العربة حسب كلام الرب اله اسرائيل الذي تكلم به عن يد عبده يونان بن أمتّاي النبي الذي من جتّ حافر.
Il rétablit les limites d'Israël depuis l'entrée de Hamath jusqu'à la mer de la plaine, selon la parole que l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, avait prononcée par son serviteur Jonas, le prophète, fils d'Amitthaï, de Gath Hépher.

For the LORD saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel.
لان الرب رأى ضيق اسرائيل مرّا جدا. لانه لم يكن محجوز ولا مطلق وليس معين لاسرائيل.
Car l'Éternel vit l'affliction d'Israël à son comble et l'extrémité à laquelle se trouvaient réduits esclaves et hommes libres, sans qu'il y eût personne pour venir au secours d'Israël.

And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.
ولم يتكلم الرب بمحو اسم اسرائيل من تحت السماء فخلصهم بيد يربعام ابن يوآش.
Or l'Éternel n'avait point résolu d'effacer le nom d'Israël de dessous les cieux, et il les délivra par Jéroboam, fils de Joas.

Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath, which belonged to Judah, for Israel, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
وبقية امور يربعام وكل ما عمل وجبروته كيف حارب وكيف استرجع الى اسرائيل دمشق وحماة التي ليهوذا أما هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل.
Le reste des actions de Jéroboam, tout ce qu'il a fait, ses exploits à la guerre, et comment il fit rentrer sous la puissance d'Israël Damas et Hamath qui avaient appartenu à Juda, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël?

And Jeroboam slept with his fathers, even with the kings of Israel; and Zachariah his son reigned in his stead.
ثم اضطجع يربعام مع آبائه مع ملوك اسرائيل وملك زكريا ابنه عوضا عنه
Jéroboam se coucha avec ses pères, avec les rois d'Israël. Et Zacharie, son fils, régna à sa place.
