2 Kings 3-
1
Joram, fils d'Achab, régna sur Israël à Samarie, la dix-huitième année de Josaphat, roi de Juda. Il régna douze ans.
Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.
Иорам, сын Ахава, воцарился над Израилем в Самарии в восемнадцатый год Иосафата, царя Иудейского, и царствовал двенадцать лет,

Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, non pas toutefois comme son père et sa mère. Il renversa les statues de Baal que son père avait faites;
And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.
и делал неугодное в очах Господних, хотя не так, как отец его и мать его: он снял статую Ваала, которую сделал отец его;

mais il se livra aux péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël, et il ne s'en détourna point.
Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
однако же грехов Иеровоама, сына Наватова, который ввел в грех Израиля, он держался, не отставал от них.

Méscha, roi de Moab, possédait des troupeaux, et il payait au roi d'Israël un tribut de cent mille agneaux et de cent mille béliers avec leur laine.
And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool.
Меса, царь Моавитский, был богат скотом и присылалцарю Израильскому по сто тысяч овец и по сто тысяч неостриженных баранов.

A la mort d'Achab, le roi de Moab se révolta contre le roi d'Israël.
But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.
Но когда умер Ахав, царь Моавитский отложился от царя Израильского.

Le roi Joram sortit alors de Samarie, et passa en revue tout Israël.
And king Jehoram went out of Samaria the same time, and numbered all Israel.
И выступил царь Иорам в то время из Самарии и сделал смотр всем Израильтянам;

Il se mit en marche, et il fit dire à Josaphat, roi de Juda: Le roi de Moab s'est révolté contre moi; veux-tu venir avec moi attaquer Moab? Josaphat répondit: J'irai, moi comme toi, mon peuple comme ton peuple, mes chevaux comme tes chevaux.
And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.
и пошел и послал к Иосафату, царю Иудейскому, сказать: царь Моавитский отложился от меня, пойдешь ли со мной на войну против Моава? Он сказал: пойду; как ты, так и я, как твой народ, так и мой народ; как твои кони, так и мои кони.

Et il dit: Par quel chemin monterons-nous? Joram dit: Par le chemin du désert d'Édom.
And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he answered, The way through the wilderness of Edom.
И сказал: какою дорогою идти нам? Он сказал: дорогою пустыни Едомской.

Le roi d'Israël, le roi de Juda et le roi d'Édom, partirent; et après une marche de sept jours, ils manquèrent d'eau pour l'armée et pour les bêtes qui la suivaient.
So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.
И пошел царь Израильский, и царь Иудейский, и царь Едомский, и шли они обходом семь дней, и не было воды для войска и дляскота, который шел за ними.

Alors le roi d'Israël dit: Hélas! l'Éternel a appelé ces trois rois pour les livrer entre les mains de Moab.
And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!
И сказал царь Израильский: ах! созвал Господь трех царей сих, чтобы предать их в руку Моава.

Mais Josaphat dit: N'y a-t-il ici aucun prophète de l'Éternel, par qui nous puissions consulter l'Éternel? L'un des serviteurs du roi d'Israël répondit: Il y a ici Élisée, fils de Schaphath, qui versait l'eau sur les mains d'Élie.
But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.
И сказал Иосафат: нет ли здесь пророка Господня, чтобы нам вопросить Господа чрез него? И отвечал один из слуг царя Израильского и сказал: здесь Елисей, сын Сафатов, который подавал воду на руки Илии.

Et Josaphat dit: La parole de l'Éternel est avec lui. Le roi d'Israël, Josaphat et le roi d'Édom, descendirent auprès de lui.
And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.
И сказал Иосафат: есть у него слово Господне. И пошли к нему царь Израильский, и Иосафат, и царь Едомский.

Élisée dit au roi d'Israël: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi? Va vers les prophètes de ton père et vers les prophètes de ta mère. Et le roi d'Israël lui dit: Non! car l'Éternel a appelé ces trois rois pour les livrer entre les mains de Moab.
And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
И сказал Елисей царю Израильскому: что мне и тебе? пойди к пророкам отца твоего и к пророкам матери твоей. И сказал ему царь Израильский: нет, потому что Господь созвал сюда трех царей сих, чтобы предать их в руку Моава.

Élisée dit: L'Éternel des armées, dont je suis le serviteur, est vivant! si je n'avais égard à Josaphat, roi de Juda, je ne ferais aucune attention à toi et je ne te regarderais pas.
And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.
И сказал Елисей: жив Господь Саваоф, пред Которым я стою! Если бы я не почитал Иосафата, царя Иудейского, то не взглянул бы на тебя и не видел бы тебя;

Maintenant, amenez-moi un joueur de harpe. Et comme le joueur de harpe jouait, la main de l'Éternel fut sur Élisée.
But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.
теперь позовите мне гуслиста. И когда гуслист играл на гуслях, тогдарука Господня коснулась Елисея,

Et il dit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Faites dans cette vallée des fosses, des fosses!
And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.
и он сказал: так говорит Господь: делайте на сей долине рвы за рвами,
-

Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: Vous n'apercevrez point de vent et vous ne verrez point de pluie, et cette vallée se remplira d'eau, et vous boirez, vous, vos troupeaux et votre bétail.
For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
ибо так говорит Господь: не увидите ветра и не увидите дождя, а долина сия наполнится водою, которую будете пить вы и мелкий и крупный скот ваш;

Mais cela est peu de chose aux yeux de l'Éternel. Il livrera Moab entre vos mains;
And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
но этого мало пред очами Господа; Он и Моава предаст в рукиваши,

vous frapperez toutes les villes fortes et toutes les villes d'élite, vous abattrez tous les bons arbres, vous boucherez toutes les sources d'eau, et vous ruinerez avec des pierres tous les meilleurs champs.
And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
и вы поразите все города укрепленные и все города главные, и все лучшие деревья срубите, и все источники водные запрудите, и все лучшие участки полевые испортите каменьями.

Or le matin, au moment de la présentation de l'offrande, voici, l'eau arriva du chemin d'Édom, et le pays fut rempli d'eau.
And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.
Поутру, когда возносят хлебное приношение, вдруг полилась вода по пути от Едома, и наполнилась земля водою.

Cependant, tous les Moabites ayant appris que les rois montaient pour les attaquer, on convoqua tous ceux en âge de porter les armes et même au-dessus, et ils se tinrent sur la frontière.
And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood in the border.
Когда Моавитяне услышали, что идут цари воевать с ними, тогдасобраны были все, начиная от носящего пояс и старше, истали на границе.

Ils se levèrent de bon matin, et quand le soleil brilla sur les eaux, les Moabites virent en face d'eux les eaux rouges comme du sang.
And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood:
Поутру встали они рано, и когда солнце воссияло над водою, Моавитянам издали показалась эта вода красною, как кровь.

Ils dirent: C'est du sang! les rois ont tiré l'épée entre eux, ils se sont frappés les uns les autres; maintenant, Moabites, au pillage!
And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.
И сказали они: это кровь; сразились цари между собою и истребилидруг друга; теперь на добычу, Моав!

Et ils marchèrent contre le camp d'Israël. Mais Israël se leva, et frappa Moab, qui prit la fuite devant eux. Ils pénétrèrent dans le pays, et frappèrent Moab.
And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.
И пришли они к стану Израильскому. И встали Израильтяне и стали бить Моавитян, и те побежали от них, а они продолжали идти на них и бить Моавитян.

Ils renversèrent les villes, ils jetèrent chacun des pierres dans tous les meilleurs champs et les en remplirent, ils bouchèrent toutes les sources d'eau, et ils abattirent tous les bons arbres; et les frondeurs enveloppèrent et battirent Kir Haréseth, dont on ne laissa que les pierres.
And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
И города разрушили, и на всякий лучший участок в поле бросили каждый по камню и закидали его; и все протоки вод запрудили и все дерева лучшие срубили, так что оставались только каменья в Кир-Харешете. И обступили его пращники и разрушили его.

Le roi de Moab, voyant qu'il avait le dessous dans le combat, prit avec lui sept cents hommes tirant l'épée pour se frayer un passage jusqu'au roi d'Édom; mais ils ne purent pas.
And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
И увидел царь Моавитский, что битва одолевает его, и взял с собою семьсот человек, владеющих мечом, чтобы пробиться к царю Едомскому; но не могли.

Il prit alors son fils premier-né, qui devait régner à sa place, et il l'offrit en holocauste sur la muraille. Et une grande indignation s'empara d'Israël, qui s'éloigna du roi de Moab et retourna dans son pays.
Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.
И взял он сына своего первенца, которому следовало царствовать вместо него, и вознес его во всесожжение на стене. Это произвело большое негодование в Израильтянах, и они отступили от него и возвратились в свою землю.
