И воцарился Иосафат, сын его, вместо него; и укрепился он против Израильтян.
Josaphat, son fils, régna à sa place.
And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.

И поставил он войско во все укрепленные города Иудеи и расставил охранное войско по земле Иудейской и по городам Ефремовым, которыми овладел Аса, отец его.
Il se fortifia contre Israël: il mit des troupes dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda, et des garnisons dans le pays de Juda et dans les villes d'Éphraïm dont Asa, son père, s'était emparé.
And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.

И был Господь с Иосафатом, потому что он ходил первыми путями Давида, отца своего, и не взыскал Ваалов,
L'Éternel fut avec Josaphat, parce qu'il marcha dans les premières voies de David, son père, et qu'il ne rechercha point les Baals;
And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;

но взыскал он Бога отца своего и поступал по заповедям Его, а не по деяниям Израильтян.
car il eut recours au Dieu de son père, et il suivit ses commandements, sans imiter ce que faisait Israël.
But sought to the LORD God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

И утвердил Господь царство в руке его, и давали все Иудеи дары Иосафату, и было у него много богатства и славы.
L'Éternel affermit la royauté entre les mains de Josaphat, à qui tout Juda apportait des présents, et qui eut en abondance des richesses et de la gloire.
Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.

И возвысилось сердце его на путях Господних; притом и высоты отменил он и дубравы в Иудее.
Son coeur grandit dans les voies de l'Éternel, et il fit encore disparaître de Juda les hauts lieux et les idoles.
And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.

И в третий год царствования своего он послал князей своих Бенхаила и Овадию, и Захарию и Нафанаила и Михея, чтоб учили по городам Иудиным народ,
La troisième année de son règne, il chargea ses chefs Ben Haïl, Abdias, Zacharie, Nethaneel et Michée, d'aller enseigner dans les villes de Juda.
Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.

и с ними левитов: Шемаию и Нефанию, и Зевадию и Азаила, и Шемирамофа и Ионафана, иАдонию и Товию и Тов-Адонию, и с ними Елишаму и Иорама, священников.
Il envoya avec eux les Lévites Schemaeja, Nethania, Zebadia, Asaël, Schemiramoth, Jonathan, Adonija, Tobija et Tob Adonija, Lévites, et les sacrificateurs Élischama et Joram.
And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.

И они учили в Иудее, имея с собою книгу закона Господня; и обходили все города Иудеи и учили народ.
Ils enseignèrent dans Juda, ayant avec eux le livre de la loi de l'Éternel. Ils parcoururent toutes les villes de Juda, et ils enseignèrent parmi le peuple.
And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

И был страх Господень на всех царствах земель, которые вокруг Иудеи, и не воевали с Иосафатом.
La terreur de l'Éternel s'empara de tous les royaumes des pays qui environnaient Juda, et ils ne firent point la guerre à Josaphat.
And the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.

А от Филистимлян приносили Иосафату дары и в дань серебро; также Аравитяне пригоняли к нему мелкий скот: овнов семь тысяч семьсот и козлов семь тысяч семьсот.
Des Philistins apportèrent à Josaphat des présents et un tribut en argent; et les Arabes lui amenèrent aussi du bétail, sept mille sept cents béliers et sept mille sept cents boucs.
Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.

И возвышался Иосафат все более и более и построил в Иудее крепости и города для запасов.
Josaphat s'élevait au plus haut degré de grandeur. Il bâtit en Juda des châteaux et des villes pour servir de magasins.
And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.

Много было у него запасов в городах Иудейских, а в Иерусалиме людей военных, храбрых.
Il fit exécuter beaucoup de travaux dans les villes de Juda, et il avait à Jérusalem de vaillants hommes pour soldats.
And he had much business in the cities of Judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valour, were in Jerusalem.

И вот список их по поколениям их: у Иуды начальники тысяч: Адна начальник, и у него отличных воинов триста тысяч;
Voici leur dénombrement, selon les maisons de leurs pères. De Juda, chefs de milliers: Adna, le chef, avec trois cent mille vaillants hommes;
And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valour three hundred thousand.

за ним Иоханан начальник, и у него двести восемьдесят тысяч;
et à ses côtés, Jochanan, le chef, avec deux cent quatre-vingt mille hommes;
And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand.

за ним Амасия, сын Зихри, посвятивший себя Господу, и у него двести тысяч воинов отличных.
et à ses côtés, Amasia, fils de Zicri, qui s'était volontairement consacré à l'Éternel, avec deux cent mille vaillants hommes.
And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valour.

У Вениамина: отличный воин Елиада, и у него вооруженных луком и щитом двести тысяч;
De Benjamin: Éliada, vaillant homme, avec deux cent mille hommes armés de l'arc et du bouclier,
And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valour, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.

за ним Иегозавад, и у него сто восемьдесят тысяч вооруженных воинов.
et à ses côtés, Zozabad, avec cent quatre-vingt mille hommes armés pour la guerre.
And next him was Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war.

Вот служившие царю, сверх тех, которых расставил царь в укрепленных городах по всей Иудее.
Tels sont ceux qui étaient au service du roi, outre ceux que le roi avait placés dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda.
These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah.
