But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

и делал он неугодное в очах Господних, подражая мерзостям народов, которых прогнал Господь от лица сынов Израилевых,
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, selon les abominations des nations que l'Éternel avait chassées devant les enfants d'Israël.

For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

и снова построил высоты, которые разрушил Езекия, отец его, и поставил жертвенники Ваалам, и устроил дубравы, и поклонялсявсему воинству небесному, и служил ему,
Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu'Ézéchias, son père, avait renversés; il éleva des autels aux Baals, il fit des idoles d'Astarté, et il se prosterna devant toute l'armée des cieux et la servit.

Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

и соорудил жертвенники в доме Господнем, о котором сказал Господь:в Иерусалиме будет имя Мое вечно;
Il bâtit des autels dans la maison de l'Éternel, quoique l'Éternel eût dit: C'est dans Jérusalem que sera mon nom à perpétuité.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Он же проводил сыновей своих чрез огонь в долине сына Енномова, и гадал, и ворожил, и чародействовал, и учредил вызывателей мертвецов и волшебников; много делал он неугодного в очах Господа, кпрогневлению Его.
Il fit passer ses fils par le feu dans la vallée des fils de Hinnom; il observait les nuages et les serpents pour en tirer des pronostics, il s'adonnait à la magie, et il établit des gens qui évoquaient les esprits et qui prédisaient l'avenir. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin de l'irriter.

And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

И поставил резного идола, которого сделал, в доме Божием, о которомговорил Бог Давиду и Соломону, сыну его: в доме сем и в Иерусалиме, который Я избрал из всех колен Израилевых, Я положу имя Мое навек;
Il plaça l'image taillée de l'idole qu'il avait faite dans la maison de Dieu, de laquelle Dieu avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C'est dans cette maison, et c'est dans Jérusalem que j'ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom.

Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.

и не дам впредь выступить ноге Израиля из земли сей, которую Яукрепил за отцами их, если только они будут стараться исполнять все, что Я заповедал им, по всему закону и уставам и повелениям, данным рукоюМоисея.
Je ne ferai plus sortir Israël du pays que j'ai destiné à vos pères, pourvu seulement qu'ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé, selon toute la loi, les préceptes et les ordonnances prescrits par Moïse.

So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.

Но Манассия довел Иудею и жителей Иерусалима до того, что они поступали хуже тех народов, которых истребил Господь от лица сынов Израилевых.
Mais Manassé fut cause que Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem s'égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l'Éternel avait détruites devant les enfants d'Israël.

And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.

И говорил Господь к Манассии и к народу его, но они не слушали.
L'Éternel parla à Manassé et à son peuple, et ils n'y firent point attention.

Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

И привел Господь на них военачальников царя Ассирийского, и заковали они Манассию в кандалы и оковали его цепями, и отвели его в Вавилон.
Alors l'Éternel fit venir contre eux les chefs de l'armée du roi d'Assyrie, qui saisirent Manassé et le mirent dans les fers; ils le lièrent avec des chaînes d'airain, et le menèrent à Babylone.

And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

И в тесноте своей он стал умолять лице Господа Бога своего и глубоко смирился пред Богом отцов своих.
Lorsqu'il fut dans la détresse, il implora l'Éternel, son Dieu, et il s'humilia profondément devant le Dieu de ses pères.

And prayed unto him: and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.

И помолился Ему, и Бог преклонился к нему и услышал моление его, и возвратил его в Иерусалим на царство его. И узнал Манассия, что Господь есть Бог.
Il lui adressa ses prières; et l'Éternel, se laissant fléchir, exauça ses supplications, et le ramena à Jérusalem dans son royaume. Et Manassé reconnut que l'Éternel est Dieu.

Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.

И после того построил внешнюю стену города Давидова, на западной стороне Геона, по лощине и до входа в Рыбные ворота, и провел ее вокруг Офела и высоко поднял ее. И поставил военачальников по всем укрепленным городам в Иудее,
Après cela, il bâtit en dehors de la ville de David, à l'occident, vers Guihon dans la vallée, un mur qui se prolongeait jusqu'à la porte des poissons et dont il entoura la colline, et il s'éleva à une grande hauteur; il mit aussi des chefs militaires dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda.

And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

и низверг чужеземных богов и идола из дома Господня, и все капища, которые соорудил на горе дома Господня и в Иерусалиме, и выбросил их за город.
Il fit disparaître de la maison de l'Éternel les dieux étrangers et l'idole, et il renversa tous les autels qu'il avait bâtis sur la montagne de la maison de l'Éternel et à Jérusalem; et il les jeta hors de la ville.

And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

И восстановил жертвенник Господень и принес на нем жертвы мирныеи хвалебные, и сказал Иудеям, чтобы они служили Господу Богу Израилеву.
Il rétablit l'autel de l'Éternel et y offrit des sacrifices d'actions de grâces et de reconnaissance, et il ordonna à Juda de servir l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.

Но народ еще приносил жертвы на высотах, хотя и Господу Богу своему.
Le peuple sacrifiait bien encore sur les hauts lieux, mais seulement à l'Éternel, son Dieu.

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.

Прочие дела Манассии, и молитва его к Богу своему, и слова прозорливцев, говоривших к нему именем Господа Бога Израилева, находятся в записях царей Израилевых.
Le reste des actions de Manassé, sa prière à son Dieu, et les paroles des prophètes qui lui parlèrent au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, cela est écrit dans les actes des rois d'Israël.

His prayer also, and how God was entreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

И молитва его, и то, что Бог преклонился к нему, и все грехи его и беззакония его, и места, накоторых он построил высоты и поставил изображения Астарты и истуканов, прежде нежели смирился, описаны в записях Хозая.
Sa prière et la manière dont Dieu l'exauça, ses péchés et ses infidélités, les places où il bâtit des hauts lieux et dressa des idoles et des images taillées avant de s'être humilié, cela est écrit dans le livre de Hozaï.

So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

И делал неугодное в очах Господних так, как делал Манассия, отец его; и всем истуканам, которых сделал Манассия, отец его, приносил Амон жертвы и служил им.

And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.

et il ne s'humilia pas devant l'Éternel, comme s'était humilié Manassé, son père, car lui, Amon, se rendit de plus en plus coupable.

And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.

But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
