كان منسّى ابن اثنتي عشرة سنة حين ملك وملك خمسا وخمسين سنة في اورشليم
Manassé avait douze ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-cinq ans à Jérusalem.
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:

وعمل الشر في عيني الرب حسب رجاسات الامم الذين طردهم الرب من امام بني اسرئيل.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, selon les abominations des nations que l'Éternel avait chassées devant les enfants d'Israël.
But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

وعاد فبنى المرتفعات التي هدمها حزقيا ابوه واقام مذابح للبعليم وعمل سواري وسجد لكل جند السماء وعبدها.
Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu'Ézéchias, son père, avait renversés; il éleva des autels aux Baals, il fit des idoles d'Astarté, et il se prosterna devant toute l'armée des cieux et la servit.
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

وبنى مذابح في بيت الرب الذي قال عنه الرب في اورشليم يكون اسمي الى الابد.
Il bâtit des autels dans la maison de l'Éternel, quoique l'Éternel eût dit: C'est dans Jérusalem que sera mon nom à perpétuité.
Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

وبنى مذابح لكل جند السماء في داري بيت الرب.
Il bâtit des autels à toute l'armée des cieux dans les deux parvis de la maison de l'Éternel.
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

وعبّر بنيه في النار في وادي ابن هنّوم وعاف وتفائل وسحر واستخدم جانا وتابعة واكثر عمل الشرّ في عيني الرب لاغاظته.
Il fit passer ses fils par le feu dans la vallée des fils de Hinnom; il observait les nuages et les serpents pour en tirer des pronostics, il s'adonnait à la magie, et il établit des gens qui évoquaient les esprits et qui prédisaient l'avenir. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin de l'irriter.
And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

ووضع تمثال الشكل الذي عمله في بيت الله الذي قال الله عنه لداود ولسليمان ابنه في هذا البيت وفي اورشليم التي اخترت من جميع اسباط اسرائيل اضع اسمي الى الابد.
Il plaça l'image taillée de l'idole qu'il avait faite dans la maison de Dieu, de laquelle Dieu avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C'est dans cette maison, et c'est dans Jérusalem que j'ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom.
And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

ولا اعود ازحزح رجل اسرائيل عن الارض التي عيّنت لآبائهم وذلك اذا حفظوا وعملوا كل ما اوصيتهم به كل الشريعة والفرائض والاحكام عن يد موسى.
Je ne ferai plus sortir Israël du pays que j'ai destiné à vos pères, pourvu seulement qu'ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé, selon toute la loi, les préceptes et les ordonnances prescrits par Moïse.
Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.

ولكن منسّى اضلّ يهوذا وسكان اورشليم ليعملوا اشر من الامم الذين طردهم الرب من امام بني اسرائيل.
Mais Manassé fut cause que Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem s'égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l'Éternel avait détruites devant les enfants d'Israël.
So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.

وكلّم الرب منسّى وشعبه فلم يصغوا
L'Éternel parla à Manassé et à son peuple, et ils n'y firent point attention.
And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.

فجلب الرب عليهم رؤساء الجند الذين لملك اشور فأخذوا منسّى بخزامة وقيدوه بسلاسل نحاس وذهبوا به الى بابل.
Alors l'Éternel fit venir contre eux les chefs de l'armée du roi d'Assyrie, qui saisirent Manassé et le mirent dans les fers; ils le lièrent avec des chaînes d'airain, et le menèrent à Babylone.
Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

ولما تضايق طلب وجه الرب الهه وتواضع جدا امام اله آبائه
Lorsqu'il fut dans la détresse, il implora l'Éternel, son Dieu, et il s'humilia profondément devant le Dieu de ses pères.
And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

وصلّى اليه فاستجاب له وسمع تضرعه ورده الى اورشليم الى مملكته. فعلم منسّى ان الرب هو الله.
Il lui adressa ses prières; et l'Éternel, se laissant fléchir, exauça ses supplications, et le ramena à Jérusalem dans son royaume. Et Manassé reconnut que l'Éternel est Dieu.
And prayed unto him: and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.

وبعد ذلك بنى سورا خارج مدينة داود غربا الى جيحون في الوادي والى مدخل باب السمك وحوّط الاكمة بسور وعلاه جدا. ووضع رؤساء جيوش في جميع المدن الحصينة في يهوذا.
Après cela, il bâtit en dehors de la ville de David, à l'occident, vers Guihon dans la vallée, un mur qui se prolongeait jusqu'à la porte des poissons et dont il entoura la colline, et il s'éleva à une grande hauteur; il mit aussi des chefs militaires dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda.
Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.

وازال الآلهة الغريبة والاشباه من بيت الرب وجميع المذابح التي بناها في جبل بيت الرب وفي اورشليم وطرحها خارج المدينة.
Il fit disparaître de la maison de l'Éternel les dieux étrangers et l'idole, et il renversa tous les autels qu'il avait bâtis sur la montagne de la maison de l'Éternel et à Jérusalem; et il les jeta hors de la ville.
And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

ورمم مذبح الرب وذبح عليه ذبائح سلامة وشكر وأمر يهوذا ان يعبدوا الرب اله اسرائيل.
Il rétablit l'autel de l'Éternel et y offrit des sacrifices d'actions de grâces et de reconnaissance, et il ordonna à Juda de servir l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

الا ان الشعب كانوا بعد يذبحون على المرتفعات انما للرب الههم.
Le peuple sacrifiait bien encore sur les hauts lieux, mais seulement à l'Éternel, son Dieu.
Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.

وبقية امور منسّى وصلاته الى الهه وكلام الرائين الذين كلموه باسم الرب اله اسرائيل ها هي في اخبار ملوك اسرائيل.
Le reste des actions de Manassé, sa prière à son Dieu, et les paroles des prophètes qui lui parlèrent au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, cela est écrit dans les actes des rois d'Israël.
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.

وصلاته والاستجابة له وكل خطاياه وخيانته والاماكن التي بنى فيها مرتفعات واقام سواري وتماثيل قبل تواضعه ها هي مكتوبة في اخبار الرائين.
Sa prière et la manière dont Dieu l'exauça, ses péchés et ses infidélités, les places où il bâtit des hauts lieux et dressa des idoles et des images taillées avant de s'être humilié, cela est écrit dans le livre de Hozaï.
His prayer also, and how God was entreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

ثم اضطجع منسّى مع آبائه فدفنوه في بيته وملك آمون ابنه عوضا عنه
Manassé se coucha avec ses pères, et on l'enterra dans sa maison. Et Amon, son fils, régna à sa place.
So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

كان آمون ابن اثنتين وعشرين سنة حين ملك وملك سنتين في اورشليم.
Amon avait vingt-deux ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna deux ans à Jérusalem.
Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.

وعمل الشر في عيني الرب كما عمل منسّى ابوه. وذبح آمون لجميع التماثيل التي عمل منسّى ابوه وعبدها.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père; il sacrifia à toutes les images taillées qu'avait faites Manassé, son père, et il les servit;
But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;

ولم يتواضع امام الرب كما تواضع منسّى ابوه بل ازداد آمون اثما.
et il ne s'humilia pas devant l'Éternel, comme s'était humilié Manassé, son père, car lui, Amon, se rendit de plus en plus coupable.
And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.

وفتن عليه عبيده وقتلوه في بيته.
Ses serviteurs conspirèrent contre lui, et le firent mourir dans sa maison.
And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.

وقتل شعب الارض جميع الفاتنين على الملك آمون وملّك شعب الارض يوشيا ابنه عوض عنه
Mais le peuple du pays frappa tous ceux qui avaient conspiré contre le roi Amon; et le peuple du pays établit roi Josias, son fils, à sa place.
But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
