فاجاب ايوب وقال
И отвечал Иов и сказал:
But Job answered and said,

2
كيف اعنت من لا قوة له وخلصت ذراعا لا عزّ لها.
как ты помог бессильному, поддержал мышцу немощного!
How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

3
كيف اشرت على من لا حكمة له واظهرت الفهم بكثرة.
Какой совет подал ты немудрому и как во всей полноте объяснил дело!
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

لمن اعلنت اقوالا ونسمة من خرجت منك
Кому ты говорил эти слова, и чей дух исходил из тебя?
To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?

الأخيلة ترتعد من تحت المياه وسكانها.
Рефаимы трепещут под водами, и живущие в них.
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

الهاوية عريانة قدامه والهلاك ليس له غطاء.
Преисподняя обнажена пред Ним, и нет покрывала Аваддону.
Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

يمد الشمال على الخلاء ويعلّق الارض على لا شيء.
Он распростер север над пустотою, повесил землю ни на чем.
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

يصرّ المياه في سحبه فلا يتمزق الغيم تحتها.
Он заключает воды в облаках Своих, и облако не расседается под ними.
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

يحجب وجه كرسيه باسطا عليه سحابه.
Он поставил престол Свой, распростер над ним облако Свое.
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.

10
رسم حدّا على وجه المياه عند اتصال النور بالظلمة.
Черту провел над поверхностью воды, до границ света со тьмою.
He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

اعمدة السموات ترتعد وترتاع من زجره.
Столпы небес дрожат и ужасаются от грозы Его.
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

12
بقوته يزعج البحر وبفهمه يسحق رهب.
Силою Своею волнует море и разумом Своим сражает его дерзость.
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

13
بنفخته السموات مسفرة ويداه ابدأتا الحية الهاربة.
От духа Его – великолепие неба; рука Его образовала быстрогоскорпиона.
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

ها هذه اطراف طرقه وما اخفض الكلام الذي نسمعه منه. واما رعد جبروته فمن يفهم
Вот, это части путей Его; и как мало мы слышали о Нем! А гром могущества Его кто может уразуметь?
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
