(126:1) Песнь восхождения. Соломона. Если Господь не созиждет дома,напрасно трудятся строящие его; если Господь не охранит города, напрасно бодрствует страж.
ترنيمة المصاعد. لسليمان. ان لم يبن الرب البيت فباطلا يتعب البناؤون. ان لم يحفظ الرب المدينة فباطلا يسهر الحارس.
Cantique des degrés. De Salomon. Si l'Éternel ne bâtit la maison, Ceux qui la bâtissent travaillent en vain; Si l'Éternel ne garde la ville, Celui qui la garde veille en vain.
A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

(126:2) Напрасно вы рано встаете, поздно просиживаете, едите хлеб печали, тогда как возлюбленному Своему Он дает сон.
باطل هو لكم ان تبكروا الى القيام مؤخرين الجلوس آكلين خبز الاتعاب. لكنه يعطي حبيبه نوما.
En vain vous levez-vous matin, vous couchez-vous tard, Et mangez-vous le pain de douleur; Il en donne autant à ses bien-aimés pendant leur sommeil.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

(126:3) Вот наследие от Господа: дети; награда от Него – плод чрева.
هوذا البنون ميراث من عند الرب ثمرة البطن اجرة.
Voici, des fils sont un héritage de l'Éternel, Le fruit des entrailles est une récompense.
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

(126:4) Что стрелы в руке сильного, то сыновья молодые.
كسهام بيد جبار هكذا ابناء الشبيبة.
Comme les flèches dans la main d'un guerrier, Ainsi sont les fils de la jeunesse.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

(126:5) Блажен человек, который наполнил ими колчан свой! Не останутся они в стыде, когда будут говорить с врагами в воротах.
طوبى للذي ملأ جعبته منهم. لا يخزون بل يكلمون الاعداء في الباب
Heureux l'homme qui en a rempli son carquois! Ils ne seront pas confus, Quand ils parleront avec des ennemis à la porte.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
