(139:1) Псалом. Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида. (139:2) Избавь меня, Господи, от человека злого; сохрани меня от притеснителя:
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
(140:1) Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David. (140:2) Éternel, délivre-moi des hommes méchants! Préserve-moi des hommes violents.

(139:3) они злое мыслят в сердце, всякий день ополчаются на брань,
Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
(140:3) Qui méditent de mauvais desseins dans leur coeur, Et sont toujours prêts à faire la guerre!

(139:4) изощряют язык свой, как змея; яд аспида под устами их.
They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
(140:4) Ils aiguisent leur langue comme un serpent, Ils ont sous leur lèvres un venin d'aspic. Pause.

(139:5) Соблюди меня, Господи, от рук нечестивого, сохрани меня отпритеснителей, которые замыслили поколебать стопы мои.
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
(140:5) Éternel, garantis-moi des mains du méchant! Préserve-moi des hommes violents, Qui méditent de me faire tomber!

(139:6) Гордые скрыли силки для меня и петли, раскинули сеть по дороге, тенета разложили для меня.
The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
(140:6) Des orgueilleux me tendent un piège et des filets, Ils placent des rets le long du chemin, Ils me dressent des embûches. Pause.

(139:7) Я сказал Господу: Ты Бог мой; услышь, Господи, голос молений моих!
I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
(140:7) Je dis à l'Éternel: Tu es mon Dieu! Éternel, prête l'oreille à la voix de mes supplications!

(139:8) Господи, Господи, сила спасения моего! Ты покрыл голову мою вдень брани.
O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
(140:8) Éternel, Seigneur, force de mon salut! Tu couvres ma tête au jour du combat.

(139:9) Не дай, Господи, желаемого нечестивому; не дай успеха злому замыслу его: они возгордятся.
Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
(140:9) Éternel, n'accomplis pas les désirs du méchant, Ne laisse pas réussir ses projets, de peur qu'il ne s'en glorifie! Pause.

(139:10) Да покроет головы окружающих меня зло собственных уст их.
As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
(140:10) Que sur la tête de ceux qui m'environnent Retombe l'iniquité de leurs lèvres!

(139:11) Да падут на них горящие угли; да будут они повержены в огонь, в пропасти, так, чтобы не встали.
Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
(140:11) Que des charbons ardents soient jetés sur eux! Qu'il les précipite dans le feu, Dans des abîmes, d'où ils ne se relèvent plus!

(139:12) Человек злоязычный не утвердится на земле; зло увлечет притеснителя в погибель.
Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
(140:12) L'homme dont la langue est fausse ne s'affermit pas sur la terre; Et l'homme violent, le malheur l'entraîne à sa perte.

(139:13) Знаю, что Господь сотворит суд угнетенным и справедливость бедным.
I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
(140:13) Je sais que l'Éternel fait droit au misérable, Justice aux indigents.

(139:14) Так! праведные будут славить имя Твое; непорочные будут обитать пред лицем Твоим.
Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
(140:14) Oui, les justes célébreront ton nom, Les hommes droits habiteront devant ta face.
