(40:1) Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.(40-2) Блажен, кто помышляет обедном! В день бедствия избавит его Господь.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
(41:1) Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David. (41:2) Heureux celui qui s'intéresse au pauvre! Au jour du malheur l'Éternel le délivre;

(40:3) Господь сохранит его и сбережет ему жизнь; блажен будет он на земле. И Ты не отдашь его на волю врагов его.
The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
(41:3) L'Éternel le garde et lui conserve la vie. Il est heureux sur la terre, Et tu ne le livres pas au bon plaisir de ses ennemis.

(40:4) Господь укрепит его на одре болезни его. Ты изменишь все ложе его в болезни его.
The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
(41:4) L'Éternel le soutient sur son lit de douleur; Tu le soulages dans toutes ses maladies.

(40:5) Я сказал: Господи! помилуй меня, исцели душумою, ибо согрешил я пред Тобою.
I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
(41:5) Je dis: Éternel, aie pitié de moi! Guéris mon âme! car j'ai péché contre toi.

(40:6) Враги мои говорят обо мне злое: „когда он умрет и погибнет имя его?"
Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
(41:6) Mes ennemis disent méchamment de moi: Quand mourra-t-il? quand périra son nom?

(40:7) И если приходит кто видеть меня, говорит ложь; сердце его слагает в себе неправду, и он, выйдя вон, толкует.
And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
(41:7) Si quelqu'un vient me voir, il prend un langage faux, Il recueille des sujets de médire; Il s'en va, et il parle au dehors.

(40:8) Все ненавидящие меня шепчут между собою против меня, замышляют наменя зло:
All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
(41:8) Tous mes ennemis chuchotent entre eux contre moi; Ils pensent que mon malheur causera ma ruine:

(40:9) „слово велиала пришло на него; он слег; не встать ему более".
An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
(41:9) Il est dangereusement atteint, Le voilà couché, il ne se relèvera pas!

(40:10) Даже человек мирный со мною, на которого я полагался, который ел хлеб мой, поднял на меня пяту.
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
(41:10) Celui-là même avec qui j'étais en paix, Qui avait ma confiance et qui mangeait mon pain, Lève le talon contre moi.

(40:11) Ты же, Господи, помилуй меня и восставь меня, и я воздам им.
But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
(41:11) Toi, Éternel, aie pitié de moi et rétablis-moi! Et je leur rendrai ce qui leur est dû.

(40:12) Из того узнаю, что Ты благоволишь ко мне, если враг мой не восторжествует надо мною,
By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
(41:12) Je connaîtrai que tu m'aimes, Si mon ennemi ne triomphe pas de moi.

(40:13) а меня сохранишь в целости моей и поставишь пред лицем Твоим на веки.
And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
(41:13) Tu m'as soutenu à cause de mon intégrité, Et tu m'as placé pour toujours en ta présence.

(40:14) Благословен Господь Бог Израилев от века и до века! Аминь, аминь!
Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
(41:14) Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, d'éternité en éternité! Amen! Amen!
