Celui qui aime la correction aime la science; Celui qui hait la réprimande est stupide.
من يحب التأديب يحب المعرفة ومن يبغض التوبيخ فهو بليد.
훈계를 좋아하는 자는 지식을 좋아하나니 징계를 싫어하는 자는 짐승과 같으니라
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

L'homme de bien obtient la faveur de l'Éternel, Mais l'Éternel condamne celui qui est plein de malice.
الصالح ينال رضى من قبل الرب اما رجل المكايد فيحكم عليه.
선인은 여호와께 은총을 받으려니와 악을 꾀하는 자는 정죄하심을 받으리이다
A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

L'homme ne s'affermit pas par la méchanceté, Mais la racine des justes ne sera point ébranlée.
لا يثبت الانسان بالشر. اما اصل الصدّيقين فلا يتقلقل.
사람이 악으로 굳게 서지 못하나니 의인의 뿌리는 움직이지 아니하느니라
A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

Une femme vertueuse est la couronne de son mari, Mais celle qui fait honte est comme la carie dans ses os.
المرأة الفاضلة تاج لبعلها. اما المخزية فكنخر في عظامه.
어진 여인은 그 지아비의 면류관이나 욕을 끼치는 여인은 그 지아비로 뼈가 썩음 같게 하느니라
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

Les pensées des justes ne sont qu'équité; Les desseins des méchants ne sont que fraude.
افكار الصدّيقين عدل. تدابير الاشرار غش.
의인의 생각은 공직하여도 악인의 도모는 궤휼이니라
The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

Les paroles des méchants sont des embûches pour verser le sang, Mais la bouche des hommes droits est une délivrance.
كلام الاشرار كمون للدم اما فم المستقيمين فينجيهم.
악인의 말은 사람을 엿보아 피를 흘리자 하는 것이어니와 정직한 자의 입은 사람을 구원하느니라
The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

Renversés, les méchants ne sont plus; Et la maison des justes reste debout.
تنقلب الاشرار ولا يكونون. اما بيت الصدّيقين فيثبت.
악인은 엎드러져서 소멸되려니와 의인의 집은 서 있으리라
The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.

Un homme est estimé en raison de son intelligence, Et celui qui a le coeur pervers est l'objet du mépris.
بحسب فطنته يحمد الانسان. اما الملتوي القلب فيكون للهوان.
사람은 그 지혜대로 칭찬을 받으려니와 마음이 패려한 자는 멸시를 받으리라
A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Mieux vaut être d'une condition humble et avoir un serviteur Que de faire le glorieux et de manquer de pain.
الحقير وله عبد خير من المتمجد ويعوزه الخبز.
비천히 여김을 받을지라도 종을 부리는 자는 스스로 높은 체 하고도 음식이 핍절한 자보다 나으니라
He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.

Le juste prend soin de son bétail, Mais les entrailles des méchants sont cruelles.
الصدّيق يراعي نفس بهيمته. اما مراحم الاشرار فقاسية.
의인은 그 육축의 생명을 돌아보나 악인의 긍휼은 잔인이니라
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Celui qui cultive son champ est rassasié de pain, Mais celui qui poursuit des choses vaines est dépourvu de sens.
من يشتغل بحقله يشبع خبزا. اما تابع البطّالين فهو عديم الفهم.
자기의 토지를 경작하는 자는 먹을 것이 많거니와 방탕한 것을 따르는 자는 지혜가 없느니라
He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

Le méchant convoite ce que prennent les méchants, Mais la racine des justes donne du fruit.
اشتهى الشرير صيد الاشرار واصل الصدّيقين يجدي.
악인은 불의의 이를 탐하나 의인은 그 뿌리로 말미암아 결실하느니라
The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.

Il y a dans le péché des lèvres un piège pernicieux, Mais le juste se tire de la détresse.
في معصية الشفتين شرك الشرير. اما الصدّيق فيخرج من الضيق.
악인은 입술의 허물로 인하여 그물에 걸려도 의인은 환난에서 벗어나느니라
The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.

Par le fruit de la bouche on est rassasié de biens, Et chacun reçoit selon l'oeuvre de ses mains.
الانسان يشبع خيرا من ثمر فمه ومكافأة يدي الانسان ترد له.
사람은 입의 열매로 인하여 복록에 족하며 그 손의 행하는 대로 자기가 받느니라
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

La voie de l'insensé est droite à ses yeux, Mais celui qui écoute les conseils est sage.
طريق الجاهل مستقيم في عينيه. اما سامع المشورة فهو حكيم.
미련한 자는 자기 행위를 바른 줄로 여기나 지혜로운 자는 권고를 듣느니라
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

L'insensé laisse voir à l'instant sa colère, Mais celui qui cache un outrage est un homme prudent.
غضب الجاهل يعرف في يومه. اما ساتر الهوان فهو ذكي.
미련한 자는 분노를 당장에 나타내거니와 슬기로운 자는 수욕을 참느니라
A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.

Celui qui dit la vérité proclame la justice, Et le faux témoin la tromperie.
من يتفوه بالحق يظهر العدل والشاهد الكاذب يظهر غشا.
진리를 말하는 자는 의를 나타내어도 거짓 증인은 궤휼을 말하느니라
He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

Tel, qui parle légèrement, blesse comme un glaive; Mais la langue des sages apporte la guérison.
يوجد من يهذر مثل طعن السيف. اما لسان الحكماء فشفاء.
혹은 칼로 찌름 같이 함부로 말하거니와 지혜로운 자의 혀는 양약 같으니라
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

La lèvre véridique est affermie pour toujours, Mais la langue fausse ne subsiste qu'un instant.
شفة الصدّيق تثبت الى الابد ولسان الكذب انما هو الى طرفة العين.
진실한 입술은 영원히 보존되거니와 거짓 혀는 눈 깜짝일 동안만 있을 뿐이니라
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

La tromperie est dans le coeur de ceux qui méditent le mal, Mais la joie est pour ceux qui conseillent la paix.
الغش في قلب الذين يفكرون في الشر اما المشيرون بالسلام فلهم فرح
악을 꾀하는 자의 마음에는 궤휼이 있고 화평을 논하는 자에게는 희락이 있느니라
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.

Aucun malheur n'arrive au juste, Mais les méchants sont accablés de maux.
لا يصيب الصدّيق شر. اما الاشرار فيمتلئون سوءا.
의인에게는 아무 재앙도 임하지 아니하려니와 악인에게는 앙화가 가득하리라
There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.

Les lèvres fausses sont en horreur à l'Éternel, Mais ceux qui agissent avec vérité lui sont agréables.
كراهة الرب شفتا كذب. اما العاملون بالصدق فرضاه
거짓 입술은 여호와께 미움을 받아도 진실히 행하는 자는 그의 기뻐하심을 받느니라
Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

L'homme prudent cache sa science, Mais le coeur des insensés proclame la folie.
الرجل الذكي يستر المعرفة. وقلب الجاهل ينادي بالحمق.
슬기로운 자는 지식을 감추어 두어도 미련한 자의 마음은 미련한 것을 전파하느니라
A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.

La main des diligents dominera, Mais la main lâche sera tributaire.
يد المجتهدين تسود. اما الرخوة فتكون تحت الجزية.
부지런한 자의 손은 사람을 다스리게 되어도 게으른 자는 부림을 받느니라
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

L'inquiétude dans le coeur de l'homme l'abat, Mais une bonne parole le réjouit.
الغم في قلب الرجل يحنيه والكلمة الطيبة تفرّحه.
근심이 사람의 마음에 있으면 그것으로 번뇌케 하나 선한 말은 그것을 즐겁게 하느니라
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

Le juste montre à son ami la bonne voie, Mais la voie des méchants les égare.
الصدّيق يهدي صاحبه. اما طريق الاشرار فتضلهم.
의인은 그 이웃의 인도자가 되나 악인의 소행은 자기를 미혹하게 하느니라
The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

Le paresseux ne rôtit pas son gibier; Mais le précieux trésor d'un homme, c'est l'activité.
الرخاوة لا تمسك صيدا. اما ثروة الانسان الكريمة فهي الاجتهاد.
게으른 자는 그 잡을 것도 사냥하지 아니하나니 사람의 부귀는 부지런한 것이니라
The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.

La vie est dans le sentier de la justice, La mort n'est pas dans le chemin qu'elle trace.
في سبيل البر حياة وفي طريق مسلكه لا موت.
의로운 길에 생명이 있나니 그 길에는 사망이 없느니라
In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
