Une réponse douce calme la fureur, Mais une parole dure excite la colère.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
유순한 대답은 분노를 쉬게 하여도 과격한 말은 노를 격동하느니라
Кроткий ответ отвращает гнев, а оскорбительное слово возбуждает ярость.

La langue des sages rend la science aimable, Et la bouche des insensés répand la folie.
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
지혜 있는 자의 혀는 지식을 선히 베풀고 미련한 자의 입은 미련한 것을 쏟느니라
Язык мудрых сообщает добрые знания, а уста глупых изрыгают глупость.

Les yeux de l'Éternel sont en tout lieu, Observant les méchants et les bons.
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
여호와의 눈은 어디서든지 악인과 선인을 감찰하시느니라
На всяком месте очи Господни: они видят злых и добрых.

La langue douce est un arbre de vie, Mais la langue perverse brise l'âme.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
온량한 혀는 곧 생명나무라도 패려한 혀는 마음을 상하게 하느니라
Кроткий язык – древо жизни, но необузданный - сокрушение духа.

L'insensé dédaigne l'instruction de son père, Mais celui qui a égard à la réprimande agit avec prudence.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
아비의 훈계를 업신여기는 자는 미련한 자요 경계를 받는 자는 슬기를 얻을 자니라
Глупый пренебрегает наставлением отца своего; а кто внимает обличениям, тот благоразумен.

Il y a grande abondance dans la maison du juste, Mais il y a du trouble dans les profits du méchant.
In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
의인의 집에는 많은 보물이 있어도 악인의 소득은 고통이 되느니라
В доме праведника – обилие сокровищ, а в прибытке нечестивого – расстройство.

Les lèvres des sages répandent la science, Mais le coeur des insensés n'est pas droit.
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
지혜로운 자의 입술은 지식을 전파하여도 미련한 자의 마음은 정함이 없느니라
Уста мудрых распространяют знание, а сердце глупых не так.

Le sacrifice des méchants est en horreur à l'Éternel, Mais la prière des hommes droits lui est agréable.
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
악인의 제사는 여호와께서 미워하셔도 정직한 자의 기도는 그가 기뻐하시느니라
Жертва нечестивых – мерзость пред Господом, а молитва праведных благоугодна Ему.

La voie du méchant est en horreur à l'Éternel, Mais il aime celui qui poursuit la justice.
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
악인의 길은 여호와께서 미워하셔도 의를 따라가는 자는 그가 사랑하시느니라
Мерзость пред Господом – путь нечестивого, а идущего путем правды Он любит.

Une correction sévère menace celui qui abandonne le sentier; Celui qui hait la réprimande mourra.
Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.
도를 배반하는 자는 엄한 징계를 받을 것이요 견책을 싫어하는 자는 죽을 것이니라
Злое наказание – уклоняющемуся от пути, и ненавидящий обличениепогибнет.

Le séjour des morts et l'abîme sont devant l'Éternel; Combien plus les coeurs des fils de l'homme!
Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
음부와 유명도 여호와의 앞에 드러나거든 하물며 인생의 마음이리요
Преисподняя и Аваддон открыты пред Господом, тем более сердца сынов человеческих.

Le moqueur n'aime pas qu'on le reprenne, Il ne va point vers les sages.
A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.
거만한 자는 견책 받기를 좋아하지 아니하며 지혜 있는 자에게로 가지도 아니하느니라
Не любит распутный обличающих его, и к мудрым не пойдет.

Un coeur joyeux rend le visage serein; Mais quand le coeur est triste, l'esprit est abattu.
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
마음의 즐거움은 얼굴을 빛나게 하여도 마음의 근심은 심령을 상하게 하느니라
Веселое сердце делает лице веселым, а при сердечной скорби дух унывает.

Un coeur intelligent cherche la science, Mais la bouche des insensés se plaît à la folie.
The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
명철한 자의 마음은 지식을 요구하고 미련한 자의 입은 미련한 것을 즐기느니라
Сердце разумного ищет знания, уста же глупых питаются глупостью.

Tous les jours du malheureux sont mauvais, Mais le coeur content est un festin perpétuel.
All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
고난 받는 자는 그 날이 다 험악하나 마음이 즐거운자는 항상 잔치하느니라
Все дни несчастного печальны; а у кого сердце весело, у того всегда пир.

Mieux vaut peu, avec la crainte de l'Éternel, Qu'un grand trésor, avec le trouble.
Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.
가산이 적어도 여호와를 경외하는 것이 크게 부하고 번뇌하는 것보다 나으니라
Лучше немногое при страхе Господнем, нежели большое сокровище, и при нем тревога.

Mieux vaut de l'herbe pour nourriture, là où règne l'amour, Qu'un boeuf engraissé, si la haine est là.
Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
여간 채소를 먹으며 서로 사랑하는 것이 살진 소를 먹으며 서로 미워하는 것보다 나으니라
Лучше блюдо зелени, и при нем любовь, нежели откормленный бык, и при нем ненависть.

Un homme violent excite des querelles, Mais celui qui est lent à la colère apaise les disputes.
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
분을 쉽게 내는 자는 다툼을 일으켜도 노하기를 더디하는 자는 시비를 그치게 하느니라
Вспыльчивый человек возбуждает раздор, а терпеливый утишает распрю.

Le chemin du paresseux est comme une haie d'épines, Mais le sentier des hommes droits est aplani.
The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.
게으른 자의 길은 가시울타리 같으나 정직한 자의 길은 대로니라
Путь ленивого – как терновый плетень, а путь праведных – гладкий.

Un fils sage fait la joie de son père, Et un homme insensé méprise sa mère.
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
지혜로운 아들은 아비를 즐겁게 하여도 미련한 자는 어미를 업신여기느니라
Мудрый сын радует отца, а глупый человек пренебрегает мать свою.

La folie est une joie pour celui qui est dépourvu de sens, Mais un homme intelligent va le droit chemin.
Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.
무지한 자는 미련한 것을 즐겨하여도 명철한 자는 그 길을 바르게 하느니라
Глупость – радость для малоумного, а человек разумный идет прямою дорогою.

Les projets échouent, faute d'une assemblée qui délibère; Mais ils réussissent quand il y a de nombreux conseillers.
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
의논이 없으면 경영이 파하고 모사가 많으면 경영이 성립하느니라
Без совета предприятия расстроятся, а при множестве советников они состоятся.

On éprouve de la joie à donner une réponse de sa bouche; Et combien est agréable une parole dite à propos!
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
사람은 그 입의 대답으로 말미암아 기쁨을 얻나니 때에 맞은 말이 얼마나 아름다운고
Радость человеку в ответе уст его, и как хорошо слово вовремя!

Pour le sage, le sentier de la vie mène en haut, Afin qu'il se détourne du séjour des morts qui est en bas.
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
지혜로운 자는 위로 향한 생명길로 말미암음으로 그 아래 있는 음부를 떠나게 되느니라
Путь жизни мудрого вверх, чтобы уклониться от преисподней внизу.

L'Éternel renverse la maison des orgueilleux, Mais il affermit les bornes de la veuve.
The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.
여호와는 교만한 자의 집을 허시며 과부의 지계를 정하시느니라
Дом надменных разорит Господь, а межу вдовы укрепит.

Les pensées mauvaises sont en horreur à l'Éternel, Mais les paroles agréables sont pures à ses yeux.
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.
악한 꾀는 여호와의 미워하시는 것이라도 선한 말은 정결하니라
Мерзость пред Господом – помышления злых, слова же непорочных угодны Ему.

Celui qui est avide de gain trouble sa maison, Mais celui qui hait les présents vivra.
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
이를 탐하는 자는 자기 집을 해롭게 하나 뇌물을 싫어하는 자는 사느니라
Корыстолюбивый расстроит дом свой, а ненавидящий подарки будет жить.

Le coeur du juste médite pour répondre, Mais la bouche des méchants répand des méchancetés.
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
의인의 마음은 대답할 말을 깊이 생각하여도 악인의 입은 악을 쏟느니라
Сердце праведного обдумывает ответ, а уста нечестивых изрыгают зло.

L'Éternel s'éloigne des méchants, Mais il écoute la prière des justes.
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
여호와는 악인을 멀리 하시고 의인의 기도를 들으시느니라
Далек Господь от нечестивых, а молитву праведников слышит.

Ce qui plaît aux yeux réjouit le coeur; Une bonne nouvelle fortifie les membres.
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
눈의 밝은 것은 마음을 기쁘게 하고 좋은 기별은 뼈를 윤택하게 하느니라
Светлый взгляд радует сердце, добрая весть утучняет кости.

L'oreille attentive aux réprimandes qui mènent à la vie Fait son séjour au milieu des sages.
The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
생명의 경계를 듣는 귀는 지혜로운 자 가운데 있느니라
Ухо, внимательное к учению жизни, пребывает между мудрыми.

Celui qui rejette la correction méprise son âme, Mais celui qui écoute la réprimande acquiert l'intelligence.
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
훈계 받기를 싫어하는 자는 자기의 영혼을 경히 여김이라 견책을 달게 받는 자는 지식을 얻느니라
Отвергающий наставление нерадеет о своей душе; а кто внимаетобличению, тот приобретает разум.

La crainte de l'Éternel enseigne la sagesse, Et l'humilité précède la gloire.
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
여호와를 경외하는 것은 지혜의 훈계라 겸손은 존귀의 앞잡이니라
Страх Господень научает мудрости, и славе предшествует смирение.
