지혜가 부르지 아니하느냐 명철이 소리를 높이지 아니하느냐
ألعل الحكمة لا تنادي والفهم ألا يعطي صوته.
La sagesse ne crie-t-elle pas? L'intelligence n'élève-t-elle pas sa voix?
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

그가 길가의 높은 곳과 사거리에 서며
عند رؤوس الشواهق عند الطريق بين المسالك تقف.
C'est au sommet des hauteurs près de la route, C'est à la croisée des chemins qu'elle se place;
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

성문 곁과 문 어귀와 여러 출입하는 문에서 불러 가로되
بجانب الابواب عند ثغر المدينة عند مدخل الابواب تصرّح.
A côté des portes, à l'entrée de la ville, A l'intérieur des portes, elle fait entendre ses cris:
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

사람들아 내가 너희를 부르며 내가 인자들에게 소리를 높이노라
لكم ايها الناس انادي وصوتي الى بني آدم.
Hommes, c'est à vous que je crie, Et ma voix s'adresse aux fils de l'homme.
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

어리석은 자들아 너희는 명철할지니라 미련한 자들아 너희는 마음이 밝을지니라 너희는 들을지어다
ايها الحمقى تعلموا ذكاء ويا جهال تعلموا فهما.
Stupides, apprenez le discernement; Insensés, apprenez l'intelligence.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

내가 가장 선한 것을 말하리라 내 입술을 열어 정직을 내리라
اسمعوا فاني اتكلم بامور شريفة وافتتاح شفتيّ استقامة.
Écoutez, car j'ai de grandes choses à dire, Et mes lèvres s'ouvrent pour enseigner ce qui est droit.
Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

내 입은 진리를 말하며 내 입술은 악을 미워하느니라
لان حنكي يلهج بالصدق ومكرهة شفتيّ الكذب.
Car ma bouche proclame la vérité, Et mes lèvres ont en horreur le mensonge;
For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

내 입의 말은 다 의로운즉 그 가운데 굽은 것과 패역한 것이 없나니
كل كلمات فمي بالحق. ليس فيها عوج ولا التواء.
Toutes les paroles de ma bouche sont justes, Elles n'ont rien de faux ni de détourné;
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

이는 다 총명 있는 자의 밝히 아는 바요 지식 얻은 자의 정직히 여기는 바니라
كلها واضحة لدى الفهيم ومستقيمة لدى الذين يجدون المعرفة.
Toutes sont claires pour celui qui est intelligent, Et droites pour ceux qui ont trouvé la science.
They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

너희가 은을 받지 말고 나의 훈계를 받으며 정금보다 지식을 얻으라
خذوا تاديبي لا الفضة. والمعرفة اكثر من الذهب المختار.
Préférez mes instructions à l'argent, Et la science à l'or le plus précieux;
Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

대저 지혜는 진주보다 나으므로 무릇 원하는 것을 이에 비교할 수 없음이니라
لان الحكمة خير من اللآلئ وكل الجواهر لا تساويها
Car la sagesse vaut mieux que les perles, Elle a plus de valeur que tous les objets de prix.
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

나 지혜는 명철로 주소를 삼으며 지식과 근신을 찾아 얻나니
انا الحكمة اسكن الذكاء واجد معرفة التدابير.
Moi, la sagesse, j'ai pour demeure le discernement, Et je possède la science de la réflexion.
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

여호와를 경외하는 것은 악을 미워하는 것이라 나는 교만과 거만과 악한 행실과 패역한 입을 미워하느니라
مخافة الرب بغض الشر. الكبرياء والتعظم وطريق الشر وفم الاكاذيب ابغضت.
La crainte de l'Éternel, c'est la haine du mal; L'arrogance et l'orgueil, la voie du mal, Et la bouche perverse, voilà ce que je hais.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

내게는 도략과 참 지식이 있으며 나는 명철이라 내게 능력이 있으므로
لي المشورة والرأي. انا الفهم. لي القدرة.
Le conseil et le succès m'appartiennent; Je suis l'intelligence, la force est à moi.
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

나로 말미암아 왕들이 치리하며 방백들이 공의를 세우며
بي تملك الملوك وتقضي العظماء عدلا.
Par moi les rois règnent, Et les princes ordonnent ce qui est juste;
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

나로 말미암아 재상과 존귀한 자 곧 세상의 모든 재판관들이 다스리느니라
بي تترأس الرؤساء والشرفاء. كل قضاة الارض.
Par moi gouvernent les chefs, Les grands, tous les juges de la terre.
By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

나를 사랑하는 자들이 나의 사랑을 입으며 나를 간절히 찾는 자가 나를 만날 것이니라
انا احب الذين يحبونني والذين يبكّرون اليّ يجدونني.
J'aime ceux qui m'aiment, Et ceux qui me cherchent me trouvent.
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

부귀가 내게 있고 장구한 재물과 의도 그러하니라
عندي الغنى والكرامة. قنية فاخرة وحظ.
Avec moi sont la richesse et la gloire, Les biens durables et la justice.
Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

내 열매는 금이나 정금보다 나으며 내 소득은 천은보다 나으니라
ثمري خير من الذهب ومن الابريز وغلتي خير من الفضة المختارة.
Mon fruit est meilleur que l'or, que l'or pur, Et mon produit est préférable à l'argent.
My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

나는 의로운 길로 행하며 공평한 길 가운데로 다니나니
في طريق العدل اتمشى في وسط سبل الحق
Je marche dans le chemin de la justice, Au milieu des sentiers de la droiture,
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

이는 나를 사랑하는 자로 재물을 얻어서 그 곳간에 채우게 하려함이니라
فاورّث محبيّ رزقا واملأ خزائنهم
Pour donner des biens à ceux qui m'aiment, Et pour remplir leurs trésors.
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

여호와께서 그 조화의 시작 곧 태초에 일하시기 전에 나를 가지셨으며
الرب قناني اول طريقه من قبل اعماله منذ القدم.
L'Éternel m'a créée la première de ses oeuvres, Avant ses oeuvres les plus anciennes.
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

만세 전부터 상고부터, 땅이 생기기 전부터, 내가 세움을 입었나니
منذ الازل مسحت منذ البدء منذ اوائل الارض.
J'ai été établie depuis l'éternité, Dès le commencement, avant l'origine de la terre.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

아직 바다가 생기지 아니하였고 큰 샘들이 있기 전에 내가 이미났으며
اذ لم يكن غمر أبدئت اذ لم تكن ينابيع كثيرة المياه.
Je fus enfantée quand il n'y avait point d'abîmes, Point de sources chargées d'eaux;
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

산이 세우심을 입기 전에 언덕이 생기기 전에 내가 이미 났으니
من قبل ان تقررت الجبال قبل التلال أبدئت.
Avant que les montagnes soient affermies, Avant que les collines existent, je fus enfantée;
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

하나님이 아직 땅도 들도 세상 진토의 근원도 짓지 아니하셨을 때에라
اذ لم يكن قد صنع الارض بعد ولا البراري ولا اول اعفار المسكونة.
Il n'avait encore fait ni la terre, ni les campagnes, Ni le premier atome de la poussière du monde.
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

그가 하늘을 지으시며 궁창으로 해면에 두르실 때에 내가 거기 있었고
لما ثبت السموات كنت هناك انا. لما رسم دائرة على وجه الغمر.
Lorsqu'il disposa les cieux, j'étais là; Lorsqu'il traça un cercle à la surface de l'abîme,
When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

그가 위로 구름 하늘을 견고하게 하시며 바다의 샘들을 힘 있게하시며
لما اثبت السحب من فوق لما تشددت ينابيع الغمر.
Lorsqu'il fixa les nuages en haut, Et que les sources de l'abîme jaillirent avec force,
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

바다의 한계를 정하여 물로 명령을 거스리지 못하게 하시며 또 땅의 기초를 정하실 때에
لما وضع للبحر حده فلا تتعدى المياه تخمه لما رسم أسس الارض.
Lorsqu'il donna une limite à la mer, Pour que les eaux n'en franchissent pas les bords, Lorsqu'il posa les fondements de la terre,
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

내가 그 곁에 있어서 창조자가 되어 날마다 그 기뻐하신 바가 되었으며 항상 그 앞에서 즐거워하였으며
كنت عنده صانعا وكنت كل يوم لذّته فرحة دائما قدامه.
J'étais à l'oeuvre auprès de lui, Et je faisais tous les jours ses délices, Jouant sans cesse en sa présence,
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

사람이 거처할 땅에서 즐거워하며 인자들을 기뻐하였었느니라
فرحة في مسكونة ارضه ولذّاتي مع بني آدم
Jouant sur le globe de sa terre, Et trouvant mon bonheur parmi les fils de l'homme.
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

아들들아 이제 내게 들으라 내 도를 지키는 자가 복이 있느니라
فالآن ايها البنون اسمعوا لي. فطوبى للذين يحفظون طرقي.
Et maintenant, mes fils, écoutez-moi, Et heureux ceux qui observent mes voies!
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

훈계를 들어서 지혜를 얻으라 그것을 버리지 말라
اسمعوا التعليم وكونوا حكماء ولا ترفضوه.
Écoutez l'instruction, pour devenir sages, Ne la rejetez pas.
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

누구든지 내게 들으며 날마다 내 문 곁에서 기다리며 문설주 옆에서 기다리는 자는 복이 있나니
طوبى للانسان الذي يسمع لي ساهرا كل يوم عند مصاريعي حافظا قوائم ابوابي.
Heureux l'homme qui m'écoute, Qui veille chaque jour à mes portes, Et qui en garde les poteaux!
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

대저 나를 얻는 자는 생명을 얻고 여호와께 은총을 얻을 것임이니라
لانه من يجدني يجد الحياة وينال رضى من الرب.
Car celui qui me trouve a trouvé la vie, Et il obtient la faveur de l'Éternel.
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

그러나 나를 잃는 자는 자기의 영혼을 해하는 자라 무릇 나를 미워하는 자는 사망을 사랑하느니라
ومن يخطئ عني يضر نفسه. كل مبغضي يحبون الموت
Mais celui qui pèche contre moi nuit à son âme; Tous ceux qui me haïssent aiment la mort.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
