Господи! Ты Бог мой; превознесу Тебя, восхвалю имя Твое, ибо Ты совершил дивное; предопределения древние истинны, аминь.
O Éternel! tu es mon Dieu; Je t'exalterai, je célébrerai ton nom, Car tu as fait des choses merveilleuses; Tes desseins conçus à l'avance se sont fidèlement accomplis.
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Ты превратил город в груду камней, твердую крепость в развалины;чертогов иноплеменников уже не стало в городе; вовек не будет он восстановлен.
Car tu as réduit la ville en un monceau de pierres, La cité forte en un tas de ruines; La forteresse des barbares est détruite, Jamais elle ne sera rebâtie.
For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

Посему будут прославлять Тебя народы сильные; города страшных племен будут бояться Тебя,
C'est pourquoi les peuples puissants te glorifient, Les villes des nations puissantes te craignent.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

ибо Ты был убежищем бедного, убежищем нищего в тесное для него время, защитою от бури, тенью от зноя; ибо гневное дыхание тиранов было подобно буре против стены.
Tu as été un refuge pour le faible, Un refuge pour le malheureux dans la détresse, Un abri contre la tempête, Un ombrage contre la chaleur; Car le souffle des tyrans Est comme l'ouragan qui frappe une muraille.
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Как зной в месте безводном, Ты укротил буйство врагов; как зной тенью облака, подавлено ликование притеснителей.
Comme tu domptes la chaleur dans une terre brûlante, Tu as dompté le tumulte des barbares; Comme la chaleur est étouffée par l'ombre d'un nuage, Ainsi ont été étouffés les chants de triomphe des tyrans.
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

И сделает Господь Саваоф на горе сей для всех народов трапезу из тучных яств, трапезу из чистых вин, из тука костей и самых чистых вин;
L'Éternel des armées prépare à tous les peuples, sur cette montagne, Un festin de mets succulents, Un festin de vins vieux, De mets succulents, pleins de moelle, De vins vieux, clarifiés.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

и уничтожит на горе сей покрывало, покрывающее все народы, покрывало, лежащее на всех племенах.
Et, sur cette montagne, il anéantit le voile qui voile tous les peuples, La couverture qui couvre toutes les nations;
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.

Поглощена будет смерть навеки, и отрет Господь Бог слезы со всех лиц, и снимет поношение с народа Своего по всей земле; ибо так говорит Господь.
Il anéantit la mort pour toujours; Le Seigneur, l'Éternel, essuie les larmes de tous les visages, Il fait disparaître de toute la terre l'opprobre de son peuple; Car l'Éternel a parlé.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

И скажут в тот день: вот Он, Бог наш! на Него мы уповали, и Он спаснас! Сей есть Господь; на Него уповали мы; возрадуемся и возвеселимся во спасении Его!
En ce jour l'on dira: Voici, c'est notre Dieu, en qui nous avons confiance, Et c'est lui qui nous sauve; C'est l'Éternel, en qui nous avons confiance; Soyons dans l'allégresse, et réjouissons-nous de son salut!
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Ибо рука Господа почиет на горе сей, и Моав будет попран на местесвоем, как попирается солома в навозе.
Car la main de l'Éternel repose sur cette montagne; Et Moab est foulé sur place, Comme la paille est foulée dans une mare à fumier.
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

И хотя он распрострет посреди его руки свои, как плавающий распростирает их для плавания; но Бог унизит гордость его вместе с лукавством рук его.
Au milieu de cette mare, il étend ses mains, Comme le nageur les étend pour nager; Mais l'Éternel abat son orgueil, Et déjoue l'artifice de ses mains.
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

И твердыню высоких стен твоих обрушит, низвергнет, повергнет на землю, в прах.
Il renverse, il précipite les fortifications élevées de tes murs, Il les fait crouler à terre, jusque dans la poussière.
And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
