О, кто даст голове моей воду и глазам моим – источник слез! я плакал бы день и ночь о пораженных дщери народа моего.
Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
Oh! si ma tête était remplie d'eau, Si mes yeux étaient une source de larmes, Je pleurerais jour et nuit Les morts de la fille de mon peuple!

О, кто дал бы мне в пустыне пристанище путников! оставил бы я народ мой и ушел бы от них: ибо все они прелюбодеи, скопище вероломных.
Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
Oh! si j'avais au désert une cabane de voyageurs, J'abandonnerais mon peuple, je m'en éloignerais! Car ce sont tous des adultères, C'est une troupe de perfides.

Как лук, напрягают язык свой для лжи, усиливаются на земле неправдою; ибо переходят от одного зла к другому, и Меня не знают, говорит Господь.
And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
Ils ont la langue tendue comme un arc et lancent le mensonge; Ce n'est pas par la vérité qu'ils sont puissants dans le pays; Car ils vont de méchanceté en méchanceté, Et ils ne me connaissent pas, dit l'Éternel.

Берегитесь каждый своего друга, и не доверяйте ни одному из своих братьев; ибо всякий брат ставит преткновение другому, и всякий друг разносит клеветы.
Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
Que chacun se tienne en garde contre son ami, Et qu'on ne se fie à aucun de ses frères; Car tout frère cherche à tromper, Et tout ami répand des calomnies.

Каждый обманывает своего друга, и правды не говорят: приучили язык свой говорить ложь, лукавствуют до усталости.
And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Ils se jouent les uns des autres, Et ne disent point la vérité; Ils exercent leur langue à mentir, Ils s'étudient à faire le mal.

Ты живешь среди коварства; по коварству они отрекаются знать Меня, говорит Господь.
Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
Ta demeure est au sein de la fausseté; C'est par fausseté qu'ils refusent de me connaître, Dit l'Éternel.

Посему так говорит Господь Саваоф: вот, Я расплавлю и испытаю их; ибокак иначе Мне поступать со дщерью народа Моего?
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Voici je les sonderai, je les éprouverai. Car comment agir à l'égard de la fille de mon peuple?

Язык их – убийственная стрела, говорит коварно; устами своимиговорят с ближним своим дружелюбно, а в сердце своем строят ему ковы.
Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
Leur langue est un trait meurtrier, Ils ne disent que des mensonges; De la bouche ils parlent de paix à leur prochain, Et au fond du coeur ils lui dressent des pièges.

Неужели Я не накажу их за это? говорит Господь; не отмстит ли душаМоя такому народу, как этот?
Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Ne les châtierais-je pas pour ces choses-là, dit l'Éternel, Ne me vengerais-je pas d'une pareille nation?

О горах подниму плач и вопль, и о степных пастбищах – рыдание,потому что они выжжены, так что никто там не проходит, и не слышно блеяния стад: от птиц небесных до скота – все рассеялись, ушли.
For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
Sur les montagnes je veux pleurer et gémir, Sur les plaines du désert je prononce une complainte; Car elles sont brûlées, personne n'y passe, On n'y entend plus la voix des troupeaux; Les oiseaux du ciel et les bêtes ont pris la fuite, ont disparu. -

И сделаю Иерусалим грудою камней, жилищем шакалов, и города Иудеи сделаю пустынею, без жителей.
And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
Je ferai de Jérusalem un monceau de ruines, un repaire de chacals, Et je réduirai les villes de Juda en un désert sans habitants. -

Есть ли такой мудрец, который понял бы это? И к кому говорят уста Господни – объяснил бы, за что погибла страна и выжжена, как пустыня, так что никто непроходит по ней?
Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?
Où est l'homme sage qui comprenne ces choses? Qu'il le dise, celui à qui la bouche de l'Éternel a parlé! Pourquoi le pays est-il détruit, Brûlé comme un désert où personne ne passe?

И сказал Господь: за то, что они оставили закон Мой, который Я постановил для них, и не слушали гласа Моего и не поступали по нему;
And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
L'Éternel dit: C'est parce qu'ils ont abandonné ma loi, Que j'avais mise devant eux; Parce qu'ils n'ont point écouté ma voix, Et qu'ils ne l'ont point suivie;

а ходили по упорству сердца своего и во след Ваалов, как научили их отцы их.
But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
Parce qu'ils ont suivi les penchants de leur coeur, Et qu'ils sont allés après les Baals, Comme leurs pères le leur ont appris.

Посему так говорит Господь Саваоф, Бог Израилев: вот, Я накормлю их,этот народ, полынью, и напою их водою с желчью;
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je vais nourrir ce peuple d'absinthe, Et je lui ferai boire des eaux empoisonnées.

и рассею их между народами, которых не знали ни они, ни отцы их, и пошлю вслед их меч, доколе не истреблю их.
I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
Je les disperserai parmi des nations Que n'ont connues ni eux ni leurs pères, Et j'enverrai derrière eux l'épée, Jusqu'à ce que je les aie exterminés.

Так говорит Господь Саваоф: подумайте, и позовите плакальщиц, чтобы они пришли; пошлите за искусницами в этом деле, чтобы они пришли.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:
Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Cherchez, appelez les pleureuses, et qu'elles viennent! Envoyez vers les femmes habiles, et qu'elles viennent!

Пусть они поспешат и поднимут плач о нас, чтобы из глаз наших лились слезы, и с ресниц наших текла вода.
And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
Qu'elles se hâtent de dire sur nous une complainte! Et que les larmes tombent de nos yeux, Que l'eau coule de nos paupières!

Ибо голос плача слышен с Сиона: „как мы ограблены! мы жестокопосрамлены, ибо оставляем землю, потому что разрушили жилища наши".
For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.
Car des cris lamentables se font entendre de Sion: Eh quoi! nous sommes détruits! Nous sommes couverts de honte! Il nous faut abandonner le pays! On a renversé nos demeures! -

Итак слушайте, женщины, слово Господа, и да внимает ухо ваше слову уст Его; и учите дочерей ваших плачу, и одна другую – плачевным песням.
Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
Femmes, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, Et que votre oreille saisisse ce que dit sa bouche! Apprenez à vos filles des chants lugubres, Enseignez-vous des complaintes les unes aux autres!

Ибо смерть входит в наши окна, вторгается в чертоги наши, чтобы истребить детей с улицы, юношей с площадей.
For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.
Car la mort est montée par nos fenêtres, Elle a pénétré dans nos palais; Elle extermine les enfants dans la rue, Les jeunes gens sur les places.

Скажи: так говорит Господь: и будут повержены трупы людей, как навоз на поле и как снопы позадижнеца, и некому будет собрать их.
Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.
Dis: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Les cadavres des hommes tomberont Comme du fumier sur les champs, Comme tombe derrière le moissonneur une gerbe Que personne ne ramasse.

Так говорит Господь: да не хвалится мудрый мудростью своею, да не хвалится сильный силою своею, да не хвалится богатый богатством своим.
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Que le sage ne se glorifie pas de sa sagesse, Que le fort ne se glorifie pas de sa force, Que le riche ne se glorifie pas de sa richesse.

Но хвалящийся хвались тем, что разумеет и знает Меня, что Я – Господь, творящий милость, суд и правду на земле; ибо только это благоугодноМне, говорит Господь.
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
Mais que celui qui veut se glorifier se glorifie D'avoir de l'intelligence et de me connaître, De savoir que je suis l'Éternel, Qui exerce la bonté, le droit et la justice sur la terre; Car c'est à cela que je prends plaisir, dit l'Éternel.

Вот, приходят дни, говорит Господь, когда Я посещу всех обрезанных и необрезанных:
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où je châtierai tous les circoncis qui ne le sont pas de coeur,

Египет и Иудею, и Едома и сыновей Аммоновых, и Моава и всех стригущих волосы на висках, обитающих в пустыне; ибо все эти народы необрезаны, а весь дом Израилев с необрезанным сердцем.
Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.
L'Égypte, Juda, Édom, les enfants d'Ammon, Moab, Tous ceux qui se rasent les coins de la barbe, Ceux qui habitent dans le désert; Car toutes les nations sont incirconcises, Et toute la maison d'Israël a le coeur incirconcis.
