L'Éternel est un Dieu jaloux, il se venge; L'Éternel se venge, il est plein de fureur; L'Éternel se venge de ses adversaires, Il garde rancune à ses ennemis.
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
Господь есть Бог ревнитель и мститель; мститель Господь и страшенв гневе: мстит Господь врагам Своим и не пощадит противников Своих.

L'Éternel est lent à la colère, il est grand par sa force; Il ne laisse pas impuni. L'Éternel marche dans la tempête, dans le tourbillon; Les nuées sont la poussière de ses pieds.
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
Господь долготерпелив и велик могуществом, и не оставляет без наказания; в вихре и в буре шествие Господа, облако – пыль от ног Его.

Il menace la mer et la dessèche, Il fait tarir tous les fleuves; Le Basan et le Carmel languissent, La fleur du Liban se flétrit.
He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
Запретит Он морю, и оно высыхает, и все реки иссякают; вянет Васан и Кармил, и блекнет цвет на Ливане.

Les montagnes s'ébranlent devant lui, Et les collines se fondent; La terre se soulève devant sa face, Le monde et tous ses habitants.
The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
Горы трясутся пред Ним, и холмы тают, и земля колеблется пред лицем Его, и вселенная и все живущие в ней.

Qui résistera devant sa fureur? Qui tiendra contre son ardente colère? Sa fureur se répand comme le feu, Et les rochers se brisent devant lui.
Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
Пред негодованием Его кто устоит? И кто стерпит пламя гнева Его?Гнев Его разливается как огонь; скалы распадаются пред Ним.

L'Éternel est bon, Il est un refuge au jour de la détresse; Il connaît ceux qui se confient en lui.
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Благ Господь, убежище в день скорби, и знает надеющихся на Него.

Mais avec des flots qui déborderont Il détruira la ville, Et il poursuivra ses ennemis jusque dans les ténèbres.
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
Но всепотопляющим наводнением разрушит до основания Ниневию, и врагов Его постигнет мрак.

Que méditez-vous contre l'Éternel? C'est lui qui détruit. La détresse ne paraîtra pas deux fois.
What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
Что умышляете вы против Господа? Он совершит истребление, и бедствие уже не повторится,

Car entrelacés comme des épines, Et comme ivres de leur vin, Ils seront consumés Comme la paille sèche, entièrement.
For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
ибо сплетшиеся между собою как терновник и упившиеся как пьяницы, они пожраны будут совершенно, как сухая солома.

De toi est sorti Celui qui méditait le mal contre l'Éternel, Celui qui avait de méchants desseins.
There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.
Из тебя произошел умысливший злое против Господа, составивший совет нечестивый.

Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Quoique intacts et nombreux, Ils seront moissonnés et disparaîtront. Je veux t'humilier, Pour ne plus avoir à t'humilier...
Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.
Так говорит Господь: хотя они безопасны и многочисленны, но они будут посечены и исчезнут; а тебя, хотя Я отягощал, более не буду отягощать.

Je briserai maintenant son joug de dessus toi, Et je romprai tes liens...
For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.
И ныне Я сокрушу ярмо его, лежащее на тебе, и узы твои разорву.

Voici ce qu'a ordonné sur toi l'Éternel: Tu n'auras plus de descendants qui portent ton nom; J'enlèverai de la maison de ton dieu les images taillées ou en fonte; Je préparerai ton sépulcre, car tu es trop léger.
And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
А о тебе, Ассур, Господь определил: не будет более семени с твоим именем; из дома бога твоего истреблю истуканов и кумиров; приготовлю тебе в нем могилу, потому что ты будешь в презрении.

(2:1) Voici sur les montagnes Les pieds du messager qui annonce la paix! Célèbre tes fêtes, Juda, accomplis tes voeux! Car le méchant ne passera plus au milieu de toi, Il est entièrement exterminé...
Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
Вот, на горах – стопы благовестника, возвещающего мир: празднуй, Иудея, праздники твои, исполняй обеты твои, ибо не будет более проходить по тебе нечестивый: он совсем уничтожен.
