이스라엘이 싯딤에 머물러 있더니 그 백성이 모압 여자들과 음행하기를 시작하니라
واقام اسرائيل في شطّيم وابتدأ الشعب يزنون مع بنات موآب.
Israël demeurait à Sittim; et le peuple commença à se livrer à la débauche avec les filles de Moab.
And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

그 여자들이 그 신들에게 제사할 때에 백성을 청하매 백성이 먹고 그들의 신들에게 절하므로
فدعون الشعب الى ذبائح آلهتهنّ فأكل الشعب وسجدوا لآلهتهنّ.
Elles invitèrent le peuple aux sacrifices de leurs dieux; et le peuple mangea, et se prosterna devant leurs dieux.
And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.

이스라엘이 바알브올에게 부속된지라 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 진노하시니라
وتعلّق اسرائيل ببعل فغور. فحمي غضب الرب على اسرائيل.
Israël s'attacha à Baal Peor, et la colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël.
And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성의 두령들을 잡아 태양을 향하여 여호와 앞에 목매어 달라 그리하면 여호와의 진노가 이스라엘을 떠나리라
فقال الرب لموسى خذ جميع رؤوس الشعب وعلّقهم للرب مقابل الشمس فيرتدّ حمو غضب الرب عن اسرائيل.
L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Assemble tous les chefs du peuple, et fais pendre les coupables devant l'Éternel en face du soleil, afin que la colère ardente de l'Éternel se détourne d'Israël.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

모세가 이스라엘 사사들에게 이르되 너희는 각기 관할하는 자 중에 바알브올에게 부속한 사람들을 죽이라 하니라
فقال موسى لقضاة اسرائيل اقتلوا كل واحد قومه المتعلّقين ببعل فغور
Moïse dit aux juges d'Israël: Que chacun de vous tue ceux de ses gens qui se sont attachés à Baal Peor.
And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.

이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 회막 문에서 울 때에 한 사람이 모세와 온 회중의 목전에 미디안의 한 여인을 데리고 그 형제에게로 온지라
واذا رجل من بني اسرائيل جاء وقدم الى اخوته المديانية امام عيني موسى واعين كل جماعة بني اسرائيل وهم باكون لدى باب خيمة الاجتماع.
Et voici, un homme des enfants d'Israël vint et amena vers ses frères une Madianite, sous les yeux de Moïse et sous les yeux de toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, tandis qu'ils pleuraient à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.
And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 보고 회중의 가운데서 일어나 손에 창을 들고
فلما رأى ذلك فينحاس بن ألعازار بن هرون الكاهن قام من وسط الجماعة واخذ رمحا بيده
A cette vue, Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, fils du sacrificateur Aaron, se leva du milieu de l'assemblée, et prit une lance, dans sa main.
And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 그의 막에 들어가서 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의 배를 꿰뚫어서 두 사람을 죽이니 염병이 이스라엘 자손에게서 그쳤더라
ودخل وراء الرجل الاسرائيلي الى القبّة وطعن كليهما الرجل الاسرائيلي والمرأة في بطنها. فامتنع الوبأ عن بني اسرائيل.
Il suivit l'homme d'Israël dans sa tente, et il les perça tous les deux, l'homme d'Israël, puis la femme, par le bas-ventre. Et la plaie s'arrêta parmi les enfants d'Israël.
And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

그 염병으로 죽은 자가 이만 사천명이었더라
وكان الذين ماتوا بالوبإ اربعة وعشرين الفا
Il y en eut vingt-quatre mille qui moururent de la plaie.
And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
فكلم الرب موسى قائلا.
L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 나의 질투심으로 질투하여 이스라엘 자손 중에서 나의 노를 돌이켜서 나의 질투심으로 그들을 진멸하지 않게 하였도다
فينحاس بن ألعازار بن هرون الكاهن قد ردّ سخطي عن بني اسرائيل بكونه غار غيرتي في وسطهم حتى لم أفن بني اسرائيل بغيرتي.
Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, fils du sacrificateur Aaron, a détourné ma fureur de dessus les enfants d'Israël, parce qu'il a été animé de mon zèle au milieu d'eux; et je n'ai point, dans ma colère, consumé les enfants d'Israël.
Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

그러므로 말하라 내가 그에게 나의 평화의 언약을 주리니
لذلك قل هانذا اعطيه ميثاقي ميثاق السلام
C'est pourquoi tu diras que je traite avec lui une alliance de paix.
Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:

그와 그 후손에게 영원한 제사장 직분의 언약이라 그가 그 하나님을 위하여 질투하여 이스라엘 자손을 속죄하였음이니라
فيكون له ولنسله من بعده ميثاق كهنوت ابدي لاجل انه غار لله وكفّر عن بني اسرائيل.
Ce sera pour lui et pour sa postérité après lui l'alliance d'un sacerdoce perpétuel, parce qu'il a été zélé pour son Dieu, et qu'il a fait l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël.
And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

죽임을 당한 이스라엘 남자 곧 미디안 여인과 함께 죽임을 당한 자의 이름은 시므리니 살루의 아들이요 시므온인의 종족 중 한 족장이며
وكان اسم الرجل الاسرائيلي المقتول الذي قتل مع المديانية زمري بن سالو رئيس بيت اب من الشمعونيين.
L'homme d'Israël, qui fut tué avec la Madianite, s'appelait Zimri, fils de Salu; il était chef d'une maison paternelle des Siméonites.
Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.

죽임을 당한 미디안 여인의 이름은 고스비니 수르의 딸이라 수르는 미디안 백성 한 종족의 두령이었더라
واسم المرأة المديانية المقتولة كزبي بنت صور. هو رئيس قبائل بيت اب في مديان
La femme qui fut tuée, la Madianite, s'appelait Cozbi, fille de Tsur, chef des peuplades issues d'une maison paternelle en Madian.
And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.

여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
ثم كلم الرب موسى قائلا
L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

미디안인들을 박해하며 그들을 치라
ضايقوا المديانيين واضربوهم
Traite les Madianites en ennemis, et tuez-les;
Vex the Midianites, and smite them:

이는 그들이 궤계로 너희를 박해하되 브올의 일과 미디안 족장의 딸 곧 브올의 일로 염병이 일어난 날에 죽임을 당한 그들의 자매 고스비의 사건으로 너희를 유혹하였음이니라
لانهم ضايقوكم بمكايدهم التي كادوكم بها في امر فغور وامر كزبي اختهم بنت رئيس لمديان التي قتلت يوم الوبإ بسبب فغور
car ils se sont montrés vos ennemis, en vous séduisant par leurs ruses, dans l'affaire de Peor, et dans l'affaire de Cozbi, fille d'un chef de Madian, leur soeur, tuée le jour de la plaie qui eut lieu à l'occasion de Peor.
For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.
