Les anciens de Galaad dirent à Jephthé: Nous revenons à toi maintenant, afin que tu marches avec nous, que tu combattes les fils d'Ammon, et que tu sois notre chef, celui de tous les habitants de Galaad.

فقال شيوخ جلعاد ليفتاح لذلك قد رجعنا الآن اليك لتذهب معنا وتحارب بني عمون وتكون لنا راسا لكل سكان جلعاد.

Jephthé répondit aux anciens de Galaad: Si vous me ramenez pour combattre les fils d'Ammon, et que l'Éternel les livre devant moi, je serai votre chef.

فقال يفتاح لشيوخ جلعاد اذا ارجعتموني لمحاربة بني عمون ودفعهم الرب امامي فانا اكون لكم راسا.

Les anciens de Galaad dirent à Jephthé: Que l'Éternel nous entende, et qu'il juge, si nous ne faisons pas ce que tu dis.

Jephthé envoya des messagers au roi des fils d'Ammon, pour lui dire: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, que tu viennes contre moi pour faire la guerre à mon pays?

Le roi des fils d'Ammon répondit aux messagers de Jephthé: C'est qu'Israël, quand il est monté d'Égypte, s'est emparé de mon pays, depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok et au Jourdain. Rends-le maintenant de bon gré.

암몬 자손의 왕이 입다의 사자에게 대답하되 ‘이스라엘이 애굽에서 올라올 때에 아르논에서부터 얍복과 요단까지 내 땅을 취한 연고니 이제 그것을 화평히 다시 돌리라’

فقال ملك بني عمون لرسل يفتاح. لان اسرائيل قد اخذ ارضي عند صعوده من مصر من ارنون الى اليبّوق والى الاردن. فالآن ردها بسلام.

입다가 암몬 자손의 왕에게 다시 사자를 보내어

وعاد ايضا يفتاح وارسل رسلا الى ملك بني عمون.

pour lui dire: Ainsi parle Jephthé: Israël ne s'est point emparé du pays de Moab, ni du pays des fils d'Ammon.

Car lorsque Israël est monté d'Égypte, il a marché dans le désert jusqu'à la mer Rouge, et il est arrivé à Kadès.

이스라엘이 사자를 에돔 왕에게 보내어 이르기를 청컨대 나를 용납하여 네 땅 가운데로 지나게 하라 하였으나 에돔 왕이 이를 듣지 아니하였고 또 그같이 사람을 모압 왕에게 보내었으나 그도 허락지 아니함으로 이스라엘이 아데스에 유하였더니

وارسل اسرائيل رسلا الى ملك ادوم قائلا دعني اعبر في ارضك. فلم يسمع ملك ادوم. فارسل ايضا الى ملك موآب فلم يرض. فاقام اسرائيل في قادش.

Puis il marcha par le désert, tourna le pays d'Édom et le pays de Moab, et vint à l'orient du pays de Moab; ils campèrent au delà de l'Arnon, sans entrer sur le territoire de Moab, car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab.

그후에 광야를 지나 에돔 땅과 모압 땅을 둘러 행하여 모압 땅 동편에서부터 와서 아르논은 모압 경계이므로 그 경내에는 들어가지 아니하였으며

وسار في القفر ودار بارض ادوم وارض موآب وأتى من مشرق الشمس الى ارض موآب ونزل في عبر ارنون ولم يأتوا الى تخم موآب لان ارنون تخم موآب.

Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, roi de Hesbon, et Israël lui dit: Laisse-nous passer par ton pays jusqu'au lieu où nous allons.

이스라엘이 헤스본 왕 곧 아모리 왕 시혼에게 사자를 보내어 그에게 이르되 청컨대 우리를 용납하여 당신의 땅으로 지나 우리 곳에 이르게 하라 하였으나

ثم ارسل اسرائيل رسلا الى سيحون ملك الاموريين ملك حشبون وقال له اسرائيل دعني اعبر في ارضك الى مكاني.

Mais Sihon n'eut pas assez confiance en Israël pour le laisser passer sur son territoire; il rassembla tout son peuple, campa à Jahats, et combattit Israël.

L'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, livra Sihon et tout son peuple entre les mains d'Israël, qui les battit. Israël s'empara de tout le pays des Amoréens établis dans cette contrée.

Ils s'emparèrent de tout le territoire des Amoréens, depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok, et depuis le désert jusqu'au Jourdain.

Vaux-tu donc mieux que Balak, fils de Tsippor, roi de Moab? A-t-il contesté avec Israël, ou lui a-t-il fait la guerre?

내가 네게 죄를 짓지 아니하였거늘 네가 나를 쳐서 내게 악을 행하고자 하는도다 원컨대 심판하시는 여호와는 오늘날 이스라엘 자손과 암몬 자손의 사이에 판결하시옵소서’ 하나

فانا لم اخطئ اليك واما انت فانك تفعل بي شرا بمحاربتي. ليقض الرب القاضي اليوم بين بني اسرائيل وبني عمون.
