Отрок Самуил служил Господу при Илии; слово Господне было редко в те дни, видения были не часты.
Le jeune Samuel était au service de l'Éternel devant Éli. La parole de l'Éternel était rare en ce temps-là, les visions n'étaient pas fréquentes.
And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

И было в то время, когда Илий лежал на своем месте, – глаза же его начали смежаться, и он не мог видеть, –
En ce même temps, Éli, qui commençait à avoir les yeux troubles et ne pouvait plus voir, était couché à sa place,
And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;

и светильник Божий еще не погас, и Самуил лежал в храме Господнем, где ковчег Божий;
la lampe de Dieu n'était pas encore éteinte, et Samuel était couché dans le temple de l'Éternel, où était l'arche de Dieu.
And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

воззвал Господь к Самуилу: И отвечал он: вот я!
Alors l'Éternel appela Samuel. Il répondit: Me voici!
That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

И побежал к Илию и сказал: вот я! ты звал меня. Но тот сказал: я не звал тебя; пойди назад, ложись. И он пошел и лег.
Et il courut vers Éli, et dit: Me voici, car tu m'as appelé. Éli répondit: Je n'ai point appelé; retourne te coucher. Et il alla se coucher.
And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

Но Господь в другой раз воззвал к Самуилу: Он встал, и пришел к Илию вторично, и сказал: вот я! ты звал меня. Но тот сказал: я не звал тебя, сын мой; пойди назад, ложись.
L'Éternel appela de nouveau Samuel. Et Samuel se leva, alla vers Éli, et dit: Me voici, car tu m'as appelé. Éli répondit: Je n'ai point appelé, mon fils, retourne te coucher.
And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

Самуил еще не знал тогда голоса Господа, и еще не открывалось ему слово Господне.
Samuel ne connaissait pas encore l'Éternel, et la parole de l'Éternel ne lui avait pas encore été révélée.
Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.

И воззвал Господь к Самуилу еще в третий раз. Он встал и пришел к Илию и сказал: вот я! ты звал меня. Тогда понялИлий, что Господь зовет отрока.
L'Éternel appela de nouveau Samuel, pour la troisième fois. Et Samuel se leva, alla vers Éli, et dit: Me voici, car tu m'as appelé. Éli comprit que c'était l'Éternel qui appelait l'enfant,
And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

И сказал Илий Самуилу: пойди назад и ложись, и когда Зовущий позовет тебя, ты скажи: говори, Господи, ибо слышит раб Твой. И пошел Самуил и лег на месте своем.
et il dit à Samuel: Va, couche-toi; et si l'on t'appelle, tu diras: Parle, Éternel, car ton serviteur écoute. Et Samuel alla se coucher à sa place.
Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

И пришел Господь, и стал, и воззвал, как в тот и другой раз: Самуил, Самуил! И сказал Самуил: говори, Господи, ибо слышит раб Твой.
L'Éternel vint et se présenta, et il appela comme les autres fois: Samuel, Samuel! Et Samuel répondit: Parle, car ton serviteur écoute.
And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

И сказал Господь Самуилу: вот, Я сделаю дело в Израиле, о которомкто услышит, у того зазвенит в обоих ушах;
Alors l'Éternel dit à Samuel: Voici, je vais faire en Israël une chose qui étourdira les oreilles de quiconque l'entendra.
And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

в тот день Я исполню над Илием все то, что Я говорил о доме его;Я начну и окончу;
En ce jour j'accomplirai sur Éli tout ce que j'ai prononcé contre sa maison; je commencerai et j'achèverai.
In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.

Я объявил ему, что Я накажу дом его на веки за ту вину, что онзнал, как сыновья его нечествуют, и не обуздывал их;
Je lui ai déclaré que je veux punir sa maison à perpétuité, à cause du crime dont il a connaissance, et par lequel ses fils se sont rendus méprisables, sans qu'il les ait réprimés.
For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

и посему клянусь дому Илия, что вина дома Илиева не загладится ни жертвами, ни приношениями хлебными вовек.
C'est pourquoi je jure à la maison d'Éli que jamais le crime de la maison d'Éli ne sera expié, ni par des sacrifices ni par des offrandes.
And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

И спал Самуил до утра, и отворил двери дома Господня; и боялся Самуил объявить видение сие Илию.
Samuel resta couché jusqu'au matin, puis il ouvrit les portes de la maison de l'Éternel. Samuel craignait de raconter la vision à Éli.
And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.

Но Илий позвал Самуила и сказал: сын мой Самуил! Тот сказал: вот я!
Mais Éli appela Samuel, et dit: Samuel, mon fils! Il répondit: Me voici!
Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.

И сказал Илий: что сказано тебе? не скрой от меня; то и то сделает с тобою Бог, и еще больше сделает, если ты утаишь от меня что-либо из всего того, что сказано тебе.
Et Éli dit: Quelle est la parole que t'a adressée l'Éternel? Ne me cache rien. Que Dieu te traite dans toute sa rigueur, si tu me caches quelque chose de tout ce qu'il t'a dit!
And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.

И объявил ему Самуил все и не скрыл от него ничего. Тогда сказал Илий:Он – Господь; что Ему угодно, то да сотворит.
Samuel lui raconta tout, sans lui rien cacher. Et Éli dit: C'est l'Éternel, qu'il fasse ce qui lui semblera bon!
And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

И возрос Самуил, и Господь был с ним; и не осталось ни одного из слов его неисполнившимся.
Samuel grandissait. L'Éternel était avec lui, et il ne laissa tomber à terre aucune de ses paroles.
And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

И узнал весь Израиль от Дана до Вирсавии, что Самуил удостоен бытьпророком Господним.
Tout Israël, depuis Dan jusqu'à Beer Schéba, reconnut que Samuel était établi prophète de l'Éternel.
And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.

И продолжал Господь являться в Силоме после того, как открыл Себя Самуилу в Силоме чрез слово Господне.
L'Éternel continuait à apparaître dans Silo; car l'Éternel se révélait à Samuel, dans Silo, par la parole de l'Éternel.
And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
